4. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your NineSky CT2 Dehumidifier:

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
2. Placement: Place the unit on a flat, stable surface in the desired area. Ensure there is at least 10 cm (4 inches) of space around the air inlets and outlets for proper airflow.
3. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
4. Water Tank: Ensure the water tank is correctly inserted into the unit. The unit will not operate if the tank is missing or improperly placed.

5. Operating Instructions

Your NineSky CT2 Dehumidifier is designed for simple operation.

Power On/Off:

• Press the Power button () on the control panel to turn the unit on or off.

Operating Modes:

The dehumidifier offers two operating modes:

• High-Speed Mode (Day Mode): Provides rapid dehumidification for quick humidity control. This is the default mode when the unit is turned on.
• Night Mode: For a quieter operation and a light-free environment, ideal for undisturbed sleep. Press the Moon button () to activate Night Mode.

LED Light Control:

The unit features 7 switchable LED colors:

• Press the Light button () once to cycle through the 7 colors.
• Press a second time to lock your preferred color.
• Press a third time to turn the light off.

Automatic Shut-Off:

The dehumidifier will automatically shut off when the water tank is full or if it is not correctly inserted. An indicator light will illuminate (red) and an audible alert may sound to notify you that the tank needs to be emptied or re-inserted.

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your dehumidifier.

Emptying the Water Tank:

1. When the water tank is full, the unit will automatically shut off and an indicator light will activate.
2. Carefully pull out the water tank from the front of the unit.
3. Pour out the collected water into a sink or drain.
4. Slide the empty water tank back into the unit until it clicks into place. The dehumidifier will resume operation automatically.

Cleaning:

• Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Air Inlets/Outlets: Periodically check and clean the air inlets and outlets to ensure they are free from dust and debris. Use a soft brush or vacuum cleaner attachment.
• Water Tank: Clean the water tank regularly with mild soap and water to prevent mold or mildew buildup. Rinse thoroughly before reinserting.
