2. What's in the Box
Upon unboxing your Redodo Smart Bluetooth 12V 140Ah LiFePO4 Battery, please verify that all components listed below are present:
- 1x Bluetooth 12.8V 140Ah LiFePO4 Battery with Low Temp Cut Off
- 2x Insulating Caps for Bolts (Red and Black)
- 2x M8- 5/8" Terminal Bolts

3. Setup & Installation
Proper setup and installation are crucial for optimal performance and safety. Please follow these guidelines:
3.1 Initial Activation & Charging:
For first-time use or after a shutdown, the battery may be in a powered-off state. To activate, charge the battery for 3-10 seconds using a LiFePO4 charger or an MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) controller with a lithium activation function.

3.2 Terminal Connection:
- Use the provided M8- 5/8" terminal bolts and insulating caps.
- Ensure connections are tight to prevent loosening and overheating.
- If OT terminals are attached directly with screws and their thickness is less than 2mm, add gaskets for lock attachment to prevent loosening and overheating.
3.3 Parallel/Series Connection:
This Redodo lithium battery supports expansion. When connecting multiple batteries, ensure they are of the same brand, type, voltage, amps, BMS, and age (within 1 month). The battery supports expansion up to 48V 560Ah.
3.4 Important Considerations:
- This battery is not suitable for starter batteries or golf carts.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Bluetooth App Monitoring:
Download the dedicated Bluetooth app from the App Store or Google Play. Once installed, connect to your battery via Bluetooth (within 10m range) to access real-time monitoring data and remote control functions.

5. Safety & Protection
The Redodo Smart Bluetooth 12V 140Ah LiFePO4 Battery is equipped with an advanced 150A Battery Management System (BMS) to ensure safe and reliable operation. The BMS provides multiple layers of protection:
- Low Temperature Cut-Off: Automatically stops charging below 32°F (0°C) and stops discharging below -4°F (-20°C) to protect the battery in cold environments. Charging recovery begins above 41°F (5°C).
- Overcurrent Protection: Prevents damage from excessive current draw.
- Overcharge Protection: Safeguards against overcharging, extending battery life.
- Overdischarge Protection: Prevents deep discharge, which can damage the battery.
- Short Circuit Protection: Automatically disconnects in case of a short circuit.
- Moisture-Proof & Salt-Spray Proof: Enhanced durability for various environmental conditions.
