3. Setup

Before first use, please follow these steps to set up your grinder:

1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
2. Initial Cleaning: Use the provided cleaning brush to remove any dust or debris from the burr and collection cup. While the grinder is designed for easy cleaning without washing, a dry brush clean is recommended before first use.
3. Assemble Handle: Attach the grinding handle to the top shaft of the grinder. Ensure it is securely fitted.

4. Operation

Follow these steps to grind your coffee beans:

4.1 Adding Coffee Beans

1. Remove the top lid of the grinder.
2. Add 25-30g of whole coffee beans into the bean hopper. Do not overfill.
3. Replace the top lid.

4.2 Adjusting Coarseness

The grinder features an external adjustment mechanism for precise control over grind size. To adjust:

1. Locate the adjustment dial on the grinder body.
2. Rotate the dial counter-clockwise until it reaches the origin (fully closed position). This is your starting point.
3. Rotate the dial clockwise by a certain number of "clicks" or "grids" to achieve your desired coarseness. The grinder is suitable for a wide range of brewing methods:
   • Turkish Coffee: 0-30 clicks (Extra Fine)
   • Espresso: 0-30 clicks (Extra Fine)
   • Moka Pot: 30-40 clicks (Fine)
   • Drip Coffee: 40-80 clicks (Medium)
   • French Press: 80-100 clicks (Coarse)
   • Cold Brew: 100-120 clicks (Coarse)

4.3 Grinding Process

1. Hold the grinder body firmly with one hand. The non-slip texture provides a secure grip.
2. With the other hand, rotate the handle clockwise. Continue rotating until all beans have been ground and the handle turns freely.
3. Unscrew the grounds collection cup from the bottom of the grinder to access your fresh coffee grounds.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your grinder. The FOHERE grinder is designed for easy disassembly and cleaning without the need for water.

5.1 Disassembly for Cleaning

The grinder can be easily disassembled by twisting its parts. No tools are required.

1. Unscrew the grounds collection cup.
2. Gently twist and separate the main body components to expose the burr assembly.
3. The inner grinding element can be removed by pressing the center shaft upwards (it's spring-loaded) and loosening the adjustment nut on top.

5.2 Cleaning Instructions

Important: Do not wash the grinder components with water. Water can cause rust and damage the burrs.

• Use the provided cleaning brush to thoroughly brush away any residual coffee grounds from the burrs, shaft, and internal components.
• Wipe the exterior of the grinder with a dry, soft cloth.
• Reassemble the grinder by reversing the disassembly steps. Ensure all parts are securely reattached.
