2.3 Powering On/Off
To power on the device, press and hold the power button located on the side of the camera until the screen illuminates. To power off, press and hold the power button again until the device shuts down.
3. Operation
3.1 Basic Measurement
Once powered on, the camera will display a live thermal image. Point the camera at the object or area you wish to measure. The screen will show real-time temperature readings, including center spot, maximum, and minimum temperatures within the field of view.

Figure 3.1: The H128's display identifies hot spots, cold spots, and a center spot for precise temperature readings, along with a high/low temperature alarm feature.
3.2 TISR Resolution Enhancement
The H128 utilizes TISR (Thermal Image Super Resolution) technology to enhance the effective resolution of thermal images up to 240x240 pixels from a native 128x128 sensor. This feature provides greater detail in your thermal inspections.

Figure 3.2: Visual comparison demonstrating the enhanced detail provided by TISR resolution (240x240) versus standard resolution (128x128).
3.3 Thermal Palettes
The camera offers five different thermal palettes to visualize temperature differences. Each palette highlights temperature variations in a distinct color scheme, allowing users to choose the best representation for their specific application.
- Iron Red: Common palette, good for general use.
- Black Hot: Hotter objects appear darker.
- Rainbow: Provides a full spectrum of colors for subtle temperature changes.
- White Hot: Hotter objects appear brighter.
- Red Hot: Emphasizes hotter areas with red tones.

3.4 Data Storage and Transfer
The H128 can store over 8000 images internally. To transfer images to a computer, connect the camera using the USB Type-C cable. The device will appear as a removable storage device, allowing you to copy the thermal images directly.

4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning the Device
To clean the camera body, use a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals. For the lens, use a specialized lens cleaning cloth and solution to avoid scratching the optical surface.
4.2 Battery Care
To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. If storing the device for an extended period, charge the battery to approximately 50% and store in a cool, dry place. Recharge every few months to prevent deep discharge.
4.3 Storage
Store the AMPBANK H128 in its original packaging or a protective case when not in use. Keep it away from extreme temperatures, high humidity, and direct sunlight. The device is designed to be sturdy and durable with a 6-foot drop-proof rating and IP65 protection level.

5. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Device does not power on. | Battery is depleted. | Charge the battery using the USB Type-C cable. |
| Screen is blank or frozen. | Software glitch or low battery. | Perform a soft reset by holding the power button for 10 seconds. Ensure battery is charged. |
| Inaccurate temperature readings. | Incorrect emissivity setting; distance to object too far; lens dirty. | Adjust emissivity setting for the material being measured. Ensure appropriate measurement distance. Clean the lens. |
| Cannot transfer files to computer. | Loose USB connection; incorrect USB mode. | Ensure USB cable is securely connected. Check camera settings for USB connection mode (if applicable). Try a different USB port or cable. |
