3. Setup and Installation
Before beginning installation, ensure your system is powered off and unplugged. Refer to your motherboard manual for specific CPU socket information.
3.1 General Precautions
- Handle components with care to avoid damage.
- Avoid touching the CPU contact surface of the cold plate.
- Ensure proper cable management to prevent interference with fans or other components.
3.2 Radiator and Fan Installation
- Determine the optimal mounting location for the 360mm radiator in your PC case (top, front, or side).
- Attach the three 120mm fans to the radiator using the provided fan screws. Ensure the fan airflow direction is appropriate for your case's cooling strategy (intake or exhaust).
- Mount the assembled radiator and fans into your chosen location in the PC case using the longer radiator screws.
3.3 CPU Block Installation (Intel LGA 1851)
- Install the Intel backplate onto the rear of your motherboard, aligning the holes with the CPU socket.
- Secure the Intel standoffs through the motherboard from the front, screwing them into the backplate.
- Apply thermal paste to the center of your CPU if it is not pre-applied on the cold plate.
- Align the CPU block with the standoffs and gently place it onto the CPU.
- Secure the CPU block using the Intel mounting bracket and thumb screws, tightening them in a diagonal pattern until snug. Do not overtighten.
3.4 CPU Block Installation (AMD AM5/AM4)
- Remove the existing plastic retention clips from the motherboard's AM5/AM4 socket, but retain the stock backplate.
- Screw the AMD standoffs into the stock backplate's mounting holes.
- Apply thermal paste to the center of your CPU if it is not pre-applied on the cold plate.
- Align the CPU block with the standoffs and gently place it onto the CPU.
- Secure the CPU block using the AMD mounting bracket and thumb screws, tightening them in a diagonal pattern until snug. Do not overtighten.
3.5 Cable Connections
- Connect the pump's 3-pin or 4-pin power cable to the CPU_FAN or AIO_PUMP header on your motherboard. Consult your motherboard manual for the recommended header.
- Connect each fan's 4-pin PWM cable to available fan headers on your motherboard or to a fan hub.
- Connect the RGB cables from the fans and pump to the included RGB controller, then connect the controller to an available 5V ARGB header on your motherboard (if applicable) or to a SATA power connector for standalone control.

4. Operating Instructions
After successful installation, power on your system and verify proper operation.
4.1 First Boot
- Upon first boot, check that the pump is running (you may hear a faint hum or feel vibrations in the tubes) and that all fans are spinning.
- Monitor CPU temperatures using system monitoring software (e.g., HWMonitor, CPU-Z) to ensure the cooler is functioning effectively.
4.2 RGB Lighting Control
- If connected to a motherboard's ARGB header, use your motherboard's RGB software (e.g., ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light, Gigabyte RGB Fusion) to customize lighting effects.
- If using the standalone RGB controller, refer to its specific instructions for cycling through lighting modes.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance helps ensure the longevity and performance of your AIO cooler.
- Dust Removal: Periodically clean dust from the radiator fins and fan blades using compressed air. Ensure fans are not spinning during cleaning.
- Visual Inspection: Occasionally inspect the tubing and connections for any signs of leaks or damage.
- No User Serviceable Parts: The AIO unit is a sealed system. Do not attempt to open the pump or radiator, as this will void the warranty and may cause damage.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps.
- High CPU Temperatures:
- Ensure the pump is powered and running.
- Verify the CPU block is securely mounted and making good contact with the CPU.
- Check that thermal paste was applied correctly.
- Confirm fans are spinning and oriented correctly for airflow.
- Fans Not Spinning/RGB Not Lighting:
- Check all power and RGB cable connections to the motherboard or controller.
- Ensure fan headers on the motherboard are enabled in BIOS/UEFI.
- Verify RGB software settings.
- Unusual Noise:
- Identify if the noise is from the pump or fans.
- For pump noise, ensure the pump is not running dry (though unlikely in a sealed AIO).
- For fan noise, check for obstructions or loose fan screws.
If issues persist, contact Valkyrie customer support for further assistance.
