2. Setup
2.1 Unpacking the Printer

2.2 Power Connection
- Connect the power cable to the rear of the printer.
- Plug the other end of the power cable into a grounded electrical outlet.
- Press the Power button to turn on the printer.

2.3 Ink Cartridge Installation
- Open the ink cartridge access door.
- Wait for the carriage to move to the center of the printer.
- Remove the protective tape from the new ink cartridges.
- Insert the black cartridge into the right slot and the color cartridge into the left slot until they click into place.
- Close the ink cartridge access door.
2.4 Paper Loading
- Pull out the input tray.
- Adjust the paper guides to the correct paper size.
- Load a stack of plain white paper into the input tray.
- Push the input tray back into the printer.
