Setup

Setting the Time

  1. Pull out the crown: Gently pull the crown (the small knob on the side of the watch) to its outermost position.
  2. Adjust the time: Rotate the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise to set the hour and minute hands to the correct time.
  3. Push in the crown: Once the time is set, push the crown back into its original position to start the watch movement.

Winding the Watch

This watch features an automatic self-winding mechanical movement. It winds itself through the motion of your wrist. If the watch stops or runs slowly, it may need manual winding.

  • Manual Winding: With the crown in its original, pushed-in position, rotate it clockwise approximately 20-30 times. This will provide enough power reserve to start the watch.
  • Wearing the Watch: Regular daily wear (approximately 8-10 hours) will keep the watch sufficiently wound.

Adjusting the Bracelet Length

The stainless steel bracelet is designed with a convenient butterfly buckle. A regulator tool is included to adjust the strap length. If you are unsure, it is recommended to have a professional watchmaker adjust the bracelet to prevent damage.

Operating the Watch

Automatic Movement

The watch is powered by an original mechanical movement that supports automatic self-winding. This means the watch does not require a battery. The movement of your arm powers the watch, keeping it running as long as it is worn regularly.

Luminous Function

The watch features a luminous function, allowing you to read the time easily in low-light conditions. The hands and hour markers absorb light and glow in the dark.

Water Resistance

The watch meets the 3ATM waterproof standard. This means it is suitable for daily waterproof needs such as hand washing, rain, or accidental splashes. It is not suitable for swimming, diving, or hot water activities.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the watch regularly with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and smudges. For the stainless steel strap, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying.
  • Water Resistance Precautions: Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in before any contact with water. Avoid exposing the watch to hot water or steam, as this can compromise the water-resistant seals.
  • Avoid Chemicals: Do not expose the watch to harsh chemicals, solvents, or detergents, as these can damage the watch's finish and seals.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the watch in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and strong magnetic fields.

Troubleshooting

  • Watch Not Running: If the watch has stopped, try manually winding it by rotating the crown clockwise 20-30 times. If it still does not start, ensure the crown is fully pushed in.
  • Time Inaccuracy: Mechanical watches may have slight variations in timekeeping. If the watch is consistently inaccurate, ensure it is being worn regularly to keep it fully wound. If the issue persists, professional inspection may be required.
  • Condensation Inside Crystal: If you notice condensation under the watch crystal, this indicates a breach in the water resistance. Immediately take the watch to a professional for inspection and repair to prevent further damage.
