1. Introduction

The MOMAX Key Finder Tracker Tag BR10 is an Apple MFi Certified smart Bluetooth tracking device designed to help you locate your valuable items. It integrates with Apple's Find My network, allowing you to track items like keys, wallets, luggage, and backpacks using your iOS devices.

2. Setup

2.1. Battery Installation

The MOMAX Key Finder Tracker Tag uses a replaceable CR2032 coin cell battery. The battery is typically pre-installed, but you may need to replace it after approximately 12 months of use.

1. Locate the small groove on the back cover of the tracker.
2. Use a lid opener or a similar flat tool to align with the groove.
3. Rotate the lid opener counter-clockwise to open the back cover.
4. Remove the old CR2032 battery (if replacing).
5. Insert a new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
6. Align the back cover and rotate clockwise until it is securely closed.

2.2. Connecting to Apple Find My

Follow these steps to connect your MOMAX Key Finder Tracker Tag to your iPhone, iPad, or Mac using the Find My app.

1. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your iOS device.
2. Open the Find My app.
3. Navigate to the Items tab.
4. Tap Add Item, then select Other Supported Item.
5. The app will search for nearby items. Once "MOMAX BR10" appears, tap Connect.
6. Name your item and choose an emoji to represent it.
7. Read and agree to the terms and conditions.
8. Tap Finish to complete the setup.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1. Locating Your Item

To find your item, open the Find My app on your iOS device. The app will display the last known location of your MOMAX Tracker Tag on a map.

3.2. Playing a Sound Alert

If your item is nearby (within approximately 65 feet or 20 meters), you can make the tracker play a loud sound to help you pinpoint its exact location.

1. In the Find My app, select your MOMAX Tracker Tag.
2. Tap the Play Sound option. The tracker will emit an 80dB sound.
3. Tap Stop Sound once you have located your item.

3.3. Using Lost Mode

If your item is lost and out of Bluetooth range, you can enable Lost Mode in the Find My app.

1. In the Find My app, select your MOMAX Tracker Tag.
2. Scroll down and enable Lost Mode.
3. You can enter a phone number and a message that will be displayed to anyone who finds your item and scans it.
4. You will receive a notification when your item's location is updated by another Apple device on the Find My network.

3.4. Sharing Your Item

With iOS 17 or later, you can share access to your MOMAX Tracker Tag with up to 5 other Apple users. This allows multiple people to track the same item.

1. In the Find My app, select your MOMAX Tracker Tag.
2. Scroll down to Share This Item and tap Add Person.
3. Select the contacts you wish to share with.

4.1. Battery Replacement

Refer to section 2.1 for detailed instructions on how to replace the CR2032 battery. It is recommended to check the battery status periodically within the Find My app.

4.2. Personalizing with DIY Stickers

The MOMAX Key Finder Tracker Tag comes with 10 DIY stickers, allowing you to personalize your tracker and easily identify it among multiple tags.

1. Choose a sticker that best represents the item you are tracking (e.g., keys, luggage, wallet).
2. Peel the chosen sticker from the sheet.
3. Carefully apply the sticker to the smooth surface of your MOMAX Tracker Tag.

5. Troubleshooting

5.1. Cannot Search for Item Tags

If you are experiencing issues with your iOS device not being able to find your MOMAX Tracker Tag, try the following steps:

1. Reset Item Finder:
   1. Take out the battery from the tracker.
   2. Put the battery back in. The tracker should emit a "Di" sound.
   3. Repeat the operation of taking out and putting in the battery 5 times. After the 5th time, a "Di Di" sound will be emitted when installing the battery, indicating a successful reset.
2. Restart Your Phone: After resetting the item finder, restart your iOS device.
3. Attempt to connect the tracker again following the steps in section 2.2.
