4. Operating Instructions
4.1 General Operation
- Power On/Off: Use the separate power switches for the Hot Air Rework System and Soldering Iron to turn them on or off.
- LCD Display: The tilted LCD display shows current temperature, air volume, temperature unit (°F/°C), sleep mode time, and hot air mode (Auto/Manual).
- °F/°C Conversion: Press the designated button to switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius display for convenience.
4.2 Hot Air Rework Station
- Temperature Adjustment: The temperature range is 212℉-896℉ (100℃-480℃). Use the control knob or buttons to set the desired temperature.
- Airflow Control: Adjust the air volume using the dedicated knob. The maximum airflow is 120L/min. The brushless blower ensures smooth airflow and low noise.
- Auto/Manual Hot Air Modes: Switch between automatic mode (minimizes wear by cooling down when placed in holder) and manual mode (continuous operation) for improved efficiency.
- Cool Air Mode: Quickly cool down PCBs by activating the cool air function via the air volume knob. The LCD will display "COL" when the temperature is below 140℉ (60℃).

4.3 Soldering Station
- Temperature Adjustment: The temperature range is 392℉-896℉ (200℃-480℃). Use the control buttons to set the desired temperature.
- Sleep Mode: The soldering station supports an adjustable sleep mode (0-99 minutes) to minimize unnecessary wear and extend the lifespan of soldering iron tips and heating elements.

5. Maintenance
- Soldering Iron Tips: Regularly clean soldering iron tips using the brass wool tip cleaner or cleaning sponge to remove oxidation and ensure efficient heat transfer. Replace worn or damaged tips promptly.
- Hot Air Nozzles: Ensure hot air nozzles are free from debris or blockages. Clean as needed.
- Unit Cleaning: Keep the main unit and handpieces clean and free from dust and solder splatter. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
- Storage: Store the unit in a dry, safe place when not in use. Ensure the hot air gun is placed in its holder to cool down properly before storage.
6. Troubleshooting
- No Power: Check the power cord connection and ensure the unit is plugged into a functional 110-127V outlet. Verify that the individual power switches for the hot air and soldering functions are in the 'ON' position.
- No Heat from Soldering Iron/Hot Air Gun: Ensure the respective handpiece is securely connected to the main unit. Check the temperature settings on the LCD display. If the issue persists, the heating element or handpiece may require replacement.
- Incorrect Temperature Reading: Perform a digital temperature calibration as described in the full product manual (if available) or contact technical support.
- Weak Airflow: Check for any obstructions in the hot air gun nozzle or hose. Ensure the air volume knob is set to the desired level.
