2. Setup

2.1 Unboxing and Component Identification

Carefully unpack all components from the carrying case. Ensure all items listed below are present:

• Ralcam F606BD-MAX Monitor Unit
• Flexible Articulating Probe (6.2mm diameter, 3.3FT length)
• USB-C Charging/Data Transfer Cable

2.2 Assembly

The Ralcam F606BD-MAX features a modular design for easy setup and storage.

1. Align the probe connector with the port on the main monitor unit.
2. Gently push and twist the probe connector clockwise until it is securely fastened.
3. Ensure the connection is firm to prevent accidental disconnection during use.

2.3 Charging the Device

The device is powered by a high-capacity 5200mAh rechargeable Lithium Polymer battery. Before first use, fully charge the device.

• Connect the supplied USB-C cable to the charging port on the monitor unit.
• Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
• The charging indicator light will show the charging status. A full charge provides up to 6 hours of continuous use.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Power On/Off

• To power on: Press and hold the power button (usually marked with a power symbol) for 2 seconds until the screen illuminates.
• To power off: Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds.

3.2 Probe Articulation

The 4-way 360° articulation allows precise control over the probe's direction.

• Use the joystick on the handle to steer the probe tip in any direction (up, down, left, right).
• The probe can be locked at any desired angle for stable viewing.

3.3 LED Brightness Adjustment

The probe is equipped with 6 high-visibility LEDs with 4 adjustable brightness settings.

• Press the LED brightness button (often marked with a light bulb symbol) to cycle through different brightness levels (0%, 60%, 80%, 100%).

3.4 Image and Video Capture

Capture high-resolution images and videos directly to the built-in MicroSD card.

• To take a photo: Press the photo capture button (often marked with a camera icon) once.
• To start/stop video recording: Press the video capture button (often marked with a video camera icon) once to start, and again to stop.
• Voice memos can be recorded using the integrated microphone and speaker.

3.5 Zoom Function

The device supports digital zoom for closer inspection of details.

• Use the zoom buttons (often marked with '+' and '-' or magnifying glass icons) to adjust the magnification level.

3.6 Reviewing Media

Access captured images and videos through the device's gallery mode.

• Navigate to the gallery/playback mode using the menu buttons.
• Use the directional buttons to browse through your saved media.
• Connect the device to a computer via USB-C to transfer files for further analysis or sharing.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning the Lens and Probe

Regular cleaning ensures optimal image quality and extends the lifespan of your borescope.

• Always power off the device before cleaning.
• Use the provided cleaning wipe or a soft, lint-free cloth to gently clean the camera lens.
• For the probe, wipe down the flexible cable with a damp cloth. Ensure no liquid enters the probe tip.
• Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as they may damage the lens or probe.

4.2 Battery Care

Proper battery care is crucial for maintaining performance and longevity.

• Charge the battery fully before long periods of storage.
• Avoid completely draining the battery frequently.
• Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

4.3 Storage

When not in use, store the borescope in its dedicated carrying case.

• Ensure the probe is coiled loosely and not sharply bent to prevent damage to the articulation mechanism.
• Keep the device away from extreme temperatures and humidity.
