Maintenance

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your NETUM NT-1950 barcode scanner, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Regularly wipe the scanner's exterior with a soft, damp cloth. For the scanning window, use a lint-free cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could scratch the lens.
  • Storage: Store the scanner in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. When not in use for extended periods, ensure the battery is partially charged (around 50%) to preserve battery health.
  • Battery Care: Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Recharge the scanner when the battery indicator is low.
  • Dock Care: Keep the charging dock clean and free of debris to ensure proper contact with the scanner's charging pins.
