To turn the jig saw on, press the power switch. To turn it off, release the power switch. For continuous operation, press the power switch and then engage the lock switch.
4.2 Speed Control
The jig saw features a 6-speed control switch, allowing you to adjust the cutting speed from 0 to 3000 RPM/min. Select a lower speed for harder materials or intricate cuts, and a higher speed for softer materials or faster cuts.
4.3 Bevel Cutting
The base plate can be adjusted for bevel cuts up to 45 degrees. To adjust the bevel angle:
- Unplug the tool.
- Loosen the screws securing the base plate.
- Tilt the base plate to the desired angle (0-45 degrees).
- Tighten the screws firmly to secure the base plate in position.
4.4 Cutting Techniques
Always ensure the workpiece is securely clamped before cutting. Apply steady, even pressure and allow the blade to do the work. Avoid forcing the saw, as this can damage the blade and motor.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
After each use, unplug the jig saw and clean it with a dry cloth. Remove any sawdust or debris from the ventilation slots and around the blade area. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
5.2 Blade Care
Regularly inspect saw blades for sharpness and damage. Dull or damaged blades can lead to inefficient cutting and increased strain on the tool. Replace blades as needed. Store blades in a dry place to prevent rust.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your jig saw, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Saw does not start:
- Check if the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet.
- Ensure the power switch is fully depressed.
- Verify the circuit breaker has not tripped.
- Blade not cutting effectively or binding:
- Ensure the correct blade type is used for the material.
- Check if the blade is dull or damaged and replace if necessary.
- Reduce cutting speed for harder materials.
- Ensure the workpiece is securely clamped.
- Excessive vibration:
- Check if the blade is properly installed and secured in the quick chuck.
- Inspect the blade for bends or damage.
- Ensure all screws on the base plate are tightened.
If problems persist after attempting these solutions, contact customer support.
