Safety Instructions

Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the air pump and any accessories from its packaging.
2. Connect Air Tubing: Attach one end of standard aquarium air tubing (not included) firmly to the air outlet nozzle on the air pump.
3. Connect Air Stone/Ornament: Connect the other end of the air tubing to an air stone, bubble wand, or air-driven ornament (not included).
4. Position in Aquarium: Place the air stone or ornament securely within your aquarium.
5. Place Air Pump: Position the air pump on a flat, stable surface. It is crucial that the air pump is placed above the water level of your aquarium. This prevents water from siphoning back into the pump if power is interrupted.
6. Install Check Valve (if necessary): If the air pump cannot be placed above the water level, you must install a check valve (not included) in the air tubing. Place the check valve as close to the air pump as possible, ensuring it is oriented correctly to allow air flow out of the pump but prevent water flow back in.
7. Power Connection: Plug the air pump into a suitable, grounded electrical outlet.
