5. Installation

The Brightever Solar Street Light offers two installation methods: wall-mounted and pole-mounted.

5.1. Pre-Installation Considerations

• Location: Choose a location that receives maximum direct sunlight throughout the day. Avoid areas shaded by trees, buildings, or other obstructions to ensure efficient solar charging.
• Height: For optimal light distribution, consider installing the light at an appropriate height for your specific application.

5.2. Wall-Mounted Installation

1. Mark the desired drilling points on the wall using the mounting bracket as a template.
2. Drill holes at the marked positions.
3. Insert the expansion bolts into the drilled holes.
4. Attach the mounting bracket to the wall using the provided screws, ensuring it is secure.
5. Mount the solar street light onto the bracket and tighten all fasteners.

5.3. Pole-Mounted Installation

1. Ensure the diameter of the installation pole does not exceed 2.75 inches.
2. Attach the extension pole to the solar street light.
3. Secure the mounting bracket to the pole using the provided U-shaped bolts or clamps.
4. Mount the solar street light assembly onto the pole bracket and tighten all fasteners.

6. Operation

The solar street light is controlled via the included remote control.

6.1. Initial Activation

Before first use, ensure the light has been charged under direct sunlight for at least 6-8 hours. Press the ON/OFF button on the light itself or the remote control to activate it.

6.2. Remote Control Functions

• ON/OFF: Turns the light on or off.
• AUTO: Activates the dusk-to-dawn mode. The light will automatically turn on at dusk and off at dawn. This mode allows for brightness adjustment.
• Brightness Adjustment (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%): Adjusts the light intensity. Note: This function is only available when the light is in AUTO (Dusk to Dawn) mode. Press the "AUTO" button first before adjusting brightness.

• Motion Sensor Mode 1: The light will illuminate at 100% brightness when motion is detected. When no motion is detected, it will dim to 30% brightness.
• Motion Sensor Mode 2: The light will illuminate at 100% brightness when motion is detected. When no motion is detected, it will turn off completely.

• Timing Function (3H, 5H, 4H): Sets the duration for the light to operate at 100% brightness before switching to a different mode or turning off.
  • 3H / 5H: After 3 or 5 hours, the light will automatically transition to Motion Sensor Mode 1 (30% brightness when no motion).
  • 4H: After 4 hours, the light will automatically switch off.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your solar street light.

• Cleaning the Solar Panel: Regularly clean the surface of the solar panel to remove dust, dirt, bird droppings, and other debris. A clean panel ensures maximum sunlight absorption and charging efficiency. Use a soft, damp cloth for cleaning.
• Inspection: Periodically check the mounting hardware for tightness and ensure the light is securely fastened.
• Battery: The internal battery is designed for long-term use and does not require user maintenance. Do not attempt to replace it.
