3. Installation
Proper installation is crucial for the safe and efficient operation of your washing machine.
3.1 Unpacking and Transport Bolt Removal
Before use, remove all packaging materials and the transport bolts located at the rear of the machine. These bolts secure the drum during transit and must be removed to prevent damage during operation.

3.2 Placement and Leveling
Place the washing machine on a firm, level surface. Adjust the leveling feet at the bottom of the machine to ensure it is stable and does not wobble. An unlevel machine can cause excessive vibration and noise.
3.3 Water Connection
Connect the fill hose to a cold water tap and to the water inlet valve on the back of the washing machine. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks. Position the drain hose into a standpipe or laundry tub, ensuring it is securely fastened and allows for proper drainage.
3.4 Electrical Connection
Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords or adapters. Ensure the outlet meets the electrical requirements specified on the appliance's rating label.
4. Operating Instructions
This section guides you through the basic operation of your Super General washing machine.
4.1 Control Panel Overview

- Program Dial: Used to select the desired wash program.

4.2 Loading Laundry

Pull out the detergent dispenser drawer. Add the appropriate amount of detergent and fabric softener to their respective compartments. Close the dispenser drawer.
4.4 Program Selection
Turn the program dial to select one of the 15 available wash programs. The selected program will be indicated on the LED display.
4.5 Adjusting Settings
Use the 'Temp', 'Speed', and 'Function' buttons to customize the wash cycle if desired. The LED display will update to show your selections.
4.6 Starting a Cycle
Press the 'Start/Pause' button to begin the wash cycle. The machine will automatically proceed through the selected program.
4.7 Pausing and Ending a Cycle
To pause a cycle, press the 'Start/Pause' button. Press it again to resume. To cancel a cycle, turn the program dial to 'OFF', then select a new program or turn the machine off.

6. Maintenance

6.2 Drum Cleaning
Use the 'Drum Clean' program regularly to clean the inside of the drum and remove any buildup or odors. Run this cycle without laundry and with a suitable washing machine cleaner if recommended.
6.3 Filter Cleaning
Locate the drain pump filter, usually at the bottom front of the machine. Open the cover, drain any residual water, and carefully remove the filter. Clean it of lint, coins, or other debris. Reinsert and secure the filter and cover.
6.4 Exterior Cleaning
Wipe the exterior surfaces of the washing machine with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
