5. Setup and Installation

The ALTHY SF100 shower filter is designed for easy, tool-free installation. Follow these steps to install your filter:

Prepare the Filter: Unscrew the filter housing body and remove the pre-installed filter cartridge. Ensure to remove the silicone plugs from both ends of the filter cartridge before use.
Connect to Shower Outlet: Screw the filter housing onto your existing shower arm or faucet connector. Ensure the sealing gasket is properly seated to prevent leaks.
Attach Shower Hose: Connect your shower hose to the other end of the filter housing. Tighten securely by hand.

Filter Cartridge Replacement

Replace the filter cartridge every 4 months or after 8000 gallons of use, whichever comes first. Your package includes three replacement cartridges, providing up to 16 months of filtration.

Unscrew the filter housing body by turning it counter-clockwise.
Carefully remove the old filter cartridge by pulling it upwards.
Insert a new filter cartridge, ensuring the silicone plugs have been removed from both ends.
Screw the filter housing body back on by turning it clockwise until secure.
Turn on the water to flush the new filter for a few minutes and check for any leaks.
