Setup

1. Battery Installation

The safe requires 4 new AA alkaline batteries (not included) for electronic operation. The external battery compartment allows for easy replacement.

1. Locate the external battery compartment.
2. Open the compartment cover.
3. Insert 4 new AA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Close the compartment cover securely.

2. Mounting the Safe

The Urban Deco Gun Safe is designed for versatile installation, including nightstands, desks, bedsides, and vehicles. Ensure there is enough space for the lid to open properly before fixing the hanging board.

3. Initial Setup (Fingerprint & PIN Code)

Refer to the detailed instructions included in the quick start guide for programming your fingerprint and setting up your digital PIN code. The safe can store up to 50 fingerprints for trusted users.

Operating the Safe

1. Accessing the Safe

• Fingerprint Access: Place your registered finger on the biometric sensor. The safe will unlock in 0.2 seconds if the fingerprint is recognized.
• PIN Code Access: Enter your 3-6 digit PIN code on the keypad. The safe will unlock upon correct entry.
• Key Access: In case of emergency or battery depletion, insert the emergency key into the keyhole and turn to unlock.

Upon successful unlock, the built-in LED lights will automatically turn on, illuminating the interior.

2. Closing the Safe

Simply close the lid of the safe. It will automatically lock securely.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

Wipe the exterior of the safe with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Keep the biometric sensor and keypad clean and dry for optimal performance.

2. Battery Replacement

When the red light flashes 2 times when the safe is opened electronically, your battery is critically low. Replace all 4 AA batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation. Refer to the "Battery Installation" section for detailed steps.

3. Interior Protection

The safe's interior is lined with thick, super dense foam to protect firearms from scratches and keep them stable. The foam pad can be adjusted by cutting to fit your specific gun size.
