4. Setup
4.1. Battery Charging
Before first use, fully charge the battery pack. Insert the battery pack into the GAL 1880 CV AS Rapid Charger. The charger's indicator light will show the charging status. Ensure the battery is securely seated.

4.2. Attaching QuickIN Accessories
The QuickIN system allows for tool-free accessory changes. To attach an accessory:
- Ensure the drill is switched off and the battery is removed for safety.
- Align the QuickIN accessory with the drill's spindle.
- Push the accessory firmly onto the spindle until it clicks into place.
- To remove, pull back the QuickIN collar and detach the accessory.

4.3. Attaching the Auxiliary Handle
For enhanced control and safety, especially during high-torque applications or when using the hammer function, attach the auxiliary handle. Screw the handle into the designated threaded opening on the drill body and tighten securely.
