- Attach Portafilter: Align the portafilter with the brew head and twist it firmly to the right until it is securely locked in place.
- Place Cup: Place one or two espresso cups on the drip tray directly under the portafilter spouts.
- Brew Espresso: Ensure the machine is powered on and heated (indicator light solid). Press the Brew button. Espresso will begin to flow. Press the Brew button again to stop the flow when you have reached your desired volume (typically 25-30ml per shot).

- Prepare Milk: Fill a stainless steel frothing pitcher with cold milk (dairy or non-dairy) to just below the spout.
- Activate Steam: Press the Steam button. Wait for the indicator light to become solid, indicating the machine has reached steaming temperature.
- Purge Steam Wand: Position the steam wand over the drip tray and briefly turn the Steam knob to release any condensed water. Turn the knob off.
- Froth Milk: Immerse the tip of the steam wand just below the surface of the milk. Slowly turn the Steam knob to release steam. Angle the pitcher to create a swirling motion.
- Texture Milk: Continue steaming until the milk reaches your desired temperature and texture (foamy for cappuccino, silky for latte). The pitcher will become hot to the touch.
- Stop Steaming: Turn the Steam knob off, then remove the pitcher.
- Clean Steam Wand: Immediately wipe the steam wand with a damp cloth to remove any milk residue. Briefly purge steam again to clear the nozzle.
