Product Overview

Your MESCOMB Multi-Styler comes with a main unit and several interchangeable attachments, each designed for a specific styling purpose. It also includes a portable PU leather travel case for convenient storage and transport.

Setup

Attaching/Detaching Styling Heads:

1. Align the grooves on the styling head with the corresponding slots on the main unit.
2. Push the styling head firmly onto the main unit until you hear a click, indicating it's securely attached.
3. To detach, press the release button on the main unit and twist the styling head gently to remove.

Folding the Main Unit (for Dryer Mode):

The main unit can be folded at a 90-degree angle for more comfortable use as a traditional hair dryer.

1. Locate the pivot button on the main unit.
2. Press the button and gently rotate the top part of the unit until it locks into the 90-degree position.
3. To return to the straight position, press the pivot button and rotate back until it locks.

Operating Instructions

Power and Settings:

• Plug in the device. The LED indicator light will turn on.
• Slide the On/Off switch to turn the device on/off.
• Press the Heat Setting button to cycle through: Cooler drying (blue), Regular drying (orange), Fast drying and styling (red).
• Press the Speed Setting button to cycle through: Low (for diffusing), Medium (for regular drying), High (for fast drying and styling).
• Press the Cool Shot button for a burst of cool air to set your style.

Using the Attachments:

• For Drying: Attach the Concentrator Nozzle. Use the foldable dryer mode for efficient and fast drying.
• For Volumizing/Straightening: Attach the Oval Volumizing Brush or Paddle Straightening Brush. Brush through hair while drying to achieve desired style.
• For Curling (Auto-Wrap Air Curlers):
  1. Ensure hair is 80-90% dry.
  2. Select the correct curler (Left for left side of head, Right for right side of head).
  3. Take a 1-inch section of hair. Hold the end of the hair near the curler. The Coanda effect will automatically wrap the hair around the barrel.
  4. Hold for 10-15 seconds, then use the cool shot for 5-10 seconds to set the curl.
  5. Gently pull the wand down to release the curl. Do not brush out curls immediately; allow them to cool and set for a few minutes.

• Cleaning: Regularly clean the air inlet mesh to prevent dust and hair buildup. Use a soft brush or cloth.
• Storage: Store the styler and its attachments in the provided portable PU leather travel case when not in use.
• Negative Ion Benefits: The styler emits 20 million negative ions during use, which helps to remove frizz, seal hair cuticles, repair hair, and enhance shine, keeping your hair soft, manageable, and elastic.
• Intelligent Thermal Control: The device measures heat 100 times per second, ensuring consistent air temperatures and reducing the risk of high heat damage to your hair.

Troubleshooting

Styler Does Not Turn On:

If your 5-in-1 styler does not turn on, it may be due to the ALCI plug tripping.

1. Unplug the device from the outlet.
2. Locate the Reset Button (Red Button) on the ALCI plug.
3. Firmly press the reset button until you hear a click. This indicates that the plug has been reset.
4. Plug the device back into the outlet.
5. Turn on your appliance to check if it is functioning properly. If not, please contact customer support.

Curling Issues:

If you experience difficulty with the hot-air wrap function:

• Avoid grabbing sections that are too large; aim for about 1 inch and ensure it's tangle-free.
• Set the dryer to the highest speed and temperature for best results.
• Avoid curling your hair in the wrong direction. Ensure the ends point in the same direction as the arrow on the wand, which indicates the wind's rotation.
• Don't brush out curls immediately; wait a few minutes to let them set. For longer-lasting hold, consider using styling gel or hairspray.
