4. Setup and Connection
4.1 Charging the Controller
Before initial use, fully charge the controller using the provided USB-C cable. Connect the USB-C end to the controller and the USB-A end to a power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter). The charging indicator light will show charging status and turn off when fully charged.
4.2 Connecting via 2.4GHz Wireless Dongle (PC/Switch Docked)
- Insert the 2.4GHz wireless USB dongle into an available USB port on your PC or Nintendo Switch dock.
- Press the Home button on the controller to power it on.
- The controller will automatically attempt to connect to the dongle. The indicator lights will stabilize once connected.
4.3 Connecting via Bluetooth (Switch/PC/Android/iOS)
For Nintendo Switch:
- From the Switch HOME Menu, select 'Controllers' > 'Change Grip/Order'.
- Press and hold the Pairing button on the top of the Leadjoy Z1 Lite controller until the indicator lights flash rapidly.
- The Switch will detect the controller. Once detected, press the L+R buttons on the controller as prompted by the Switch.
For PC (Windows):
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your PC. Go to 'Settings' > 'Devices' > 'Bluetooth & other devices'.
- Select 'Add Bluetooth or other device' > 'Bluetooth'.
- Press and hold the Pairing button on the controller until the indicator lights flash rapidly.
- Select 'Leadjoy Z1 Lite' from the list of available devices and follow any on-screen prompts.
For Android/iOS Devices:
- Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device.
- Press and hold the Pairing button on the controller until the indicator lights flash rapidly.
- Select 'Leadjoy Z1 Lite' from the list of available Bluetooth devices on your phone/tablet.
- The controller will connect, and the indicator lights will stabilize.
4.4 Connecting via USB-C Cable
- Connect one end of the USB-C cable to the controller and the other end to a USB port on your PC or Nintendo Switch dock.
- The controller will be recognized as a wired controller.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Button Functions
The controller features standard button layouts including A/B/X/Y buttons, D-pad, Left/Right Analog Sticks, L/R shoulder buttons, ZL/ZR triggers, Home button, Select/Minus button, Start/Plus button, and four mappable back buttons (M1, M2, M3, M4).
5.2 Mappable Back Buttons (M1-M4)
