4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation and Initial Charge

The ACEBEAM T35 comes with a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery pre-installed. Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the battery.

1. Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight.
2. Ensure the battery is inserted with the positive (+) terminal facing towards the head of the flashlight.
3. Screw the tail cap back on tightly to ensure proper contact and water resistance.
4. Connect the provided Type-C cable to the charging port on the flashlight and to a USB power source. The power indicator will show charging status.
5. Charge until the indicator shows a full charge.

4.2 Attaching Lanyard and Holster

• Lanyard: Thread the lanyard through the designated hole on the tail cap for secure carrying.
• Holster: Insert the flashlight into the provided holster for belt carry or storage.

5. Operating Instructions

The T35 features a dual-switch design: a tactical tail switch and a side switch for versatile operation.

5.1 Basic Operation (Tactical Mode - Default)

• Tail Switch:
  • Press fully to turn the flashlight ON/OFF.
  • Half-press for momentary ON (release to turn off).
  • In Tactical Mode, a full press will always activate Turbo mode.
• Side Switch (when ON):
  • Press to cycle through brightness levels: Ultra-Low → Low → Mid → High.
  • Press and hold for 0.5 seconds to activate Turbo mode.
  • Double-press to activate Strobe mode. Press again to return to the previous brightness level.

5.2 EDC (Everyday Carry) Mode

The T35 offers an EDC mode where the tail switch memorizes the last used brightness level.

• Switching to EDC Mode: From the OFF position, press and hold the side switch, then simultaneously press the tail switch. The light will turn on in Turbo mode.
• Setting Memorized Level: While in EDC mode, use the side switch to select your desired brightness level. Turn the flashlight OFF using the tail switch. The next time you turn it ON with the tail switch, it will activate at this memorized level.
• Switching back to Tactical Mode: From the OFF position, press and hold the side switch, then simultaneously press the tail switch. The flashlight will revert to Tactical Mode, where the tail switch always activates Turbo.

5.3 Battery Indicator

The side switch incorporates a battery level indicator to help monitor remaining power. Refer to the specific color codes in your included user manual for detailed interpretation.

• Cleaning: Wipe the flashlight body with a clean, soft cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasives.
• Threads and O-rings: Periodically clean the threads and lubricate the O-rings with silicone grease to maintain water resistance. Replace O-rings if they appear damaged or worn.
• Battery Care:
  • Store the battery in a cool, dry place when not in use.
  • Avoid fully discharging the battery for extended periods.
  • If storing for a long time, charge the battery to approximately 50% capacity.
• Water Resistance: The T35 is rated IP68, meaning it is protected against continuous immersion in water up to a specified depth. Ensure the tail cap and charging port cover are securely tightened before exposing to water.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your ACEBEAM T35, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

• Flashlight does not turn on or is dim:
  • Check if the battery is fully charged.
  • Ensure the battery is inserted correctly with the positive (+) terminal facing the head.
  • Tighten the tail cap securely to ensure proper electrical contact.
  • Clean the battery contacts and flashlight threads if dirty.
• Light flickers or turns off unexpectedly:
  • The battery may be low; recharge it.
  • Ensure the tail cap is tightly secured.
  • Check for loose battery connections.
• Side switch accidentally changes brightness:
  • This can occur due to the flush design of the side switch. Be mindful of your grip during use. Consider using the tail switch for primary ON/OFF to maintain a consistent brightness level.
• Long charging time:
  • Charging time can vary depending on the power source and the battery's discharge level. Ensure you are using a compatible USB power adapter. A full charge may take several hours.
