Assembly Instructions
Follow these steps to assemble your LarkLeaves L20 Ergonomic Office Chair:
- Attach Casters to Base: Insert each of the five casters into the holes at the end of each leg of the star base. Push firmly until they click into place.
- Insert Gas Lift: Place the gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the star base. Ensure it is seated securely.
- Attach Mechanism to Seat: Align the mechanism plate with the screw holes on the underside of the seat cushion. Ensure the front of the mechanism faces the front of the seat. Secure with screws from the hardware kit, tightening them evenly.
- Connect Seat to Gas Lift: Carefully place the assembled seat onto the gas lift cylinder. The tapered end of the gas lift should fit into the center hole of the mechanism.
- Attach Armrests: Secure the armrests to the sides of the seat cushion using the provided screws. Ensure they are oriented correctly (left and right).
- Attach Backrest: Align the backrest with the mounting points on the seat mechanism and armrests. Secure with screws, ensuring a firm connection.
- Install Headrest: Slide the headrest into the designated slot at the top of the backrest. Adjust to your preferred height and angle.
- Final Check: Once assembled, sit on the chair to ensure all components are stable and functioning correctly. Test all adjustment features.
Operating Instructions
Familiarize yourself with the adjustment features of your LarkLeaves L20 chair for optimal comfort and support.
1. Adjusting the Headrest
The 3D headrest offers multi-directional adjustment for neck and head support.
- Height Adjustment: Gently pull the headrest up or push it down to adjust its vertical position (up to 6cm / 2.4 inches).
- Depth Adjustment: Push the headrest forward or pull it backward to adjust its depth (up to 3cm / 1.2 inches).
- Tilt Adjustment: Tilt the headrest forward or backward to find the most comfortable angle (up to 35 degrees).

2. Adjusting Lumbar Support
The 2D lumbar support can be adjusted to fit the natural curve of your lower back.
- Depth Adjustment: Rotate the knob on the side of the lumbar support to move it forward or backward (up to 2cm / 0.79 inches) for personalized lower back comfort.
- Height Adjustment: Slide the lumbar support up or down (up to 2cm / 0.79 inches) to align with your lumbar curve.

3. Adjusting Seat Height
To adjust the seat height:
- To Raise: While standing, pull the lever located on the right side of the seat upwards. The seat will rise. Release the lever at the desired height.
- To Lower: While seated, pull the lever located on the right side of the seat upwards. The seat will lower. Release the lever at the desired height.
4. Reclining and Tilt Tension
The chair features a rocking tilt function and adjustable tilt tension.
- Activate Rocking Mode: Pull the same lever used for height adjustment outwards to enable the rocking function. Push it inwards to lock the backrest in an upright position.
- Adjust Tilt Tension: Rotate the round knob located underneath the seat, at the front of the mechanism. Turn clockwise to increase tension (firmer recline) or counter-clockwise to decrease tension (easier recline).

5. Flip-Up Armrests
The armrests can be flipped up to allow the chair to be pushed closer to a desk or for increased mobility.
- To raise the armrests, simply lift them upwards until they lock into a vertical position.
- To lower them, gently pull them down.

6. Coat Hanger
