3. Setup and Assembly

Assembly is required for this product. Please follow these steps carefully.

  1. Attach Casters to Base: Insert each of the five casters into the designated holes on the underside of the circular tool tray base. Ensure they are firmly seated.
  2. Insert Pneumatic Cylinder: Place the wider end of the pneumatic cylinder into the central hole of the tool tray base.
  3. Attach Seat to Cylinder: Align the seat plate with the top of the pneumatic cylinder. Press down firmly to secure the seat onto the cylinder.
  4. Verify Assembly: Once all components are assembled, gently test the stool for stability and proper function before full use.

4. Operating Instructions

Height Adjustment:

To adjust the seat height, locate the lever under the seat. While seated, pull the lever upwards to lower the seat. To raise the seat, stand up slightly to relieve weight from the seat, then pull the lever upwards. The seat will rise pneumatically. Release the lever at the desired height.

Mobility and Swivel:

The five industrial-strength casters allow for smooth, omni-directional movement across flat surfaces. The seat also swivels 360 degrees independently of the base, providing flexibility and ease of access to different work areas without needing to reposition the entire stool.

Tool Tray Usage:

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your PowerSmart Rolling Mechanics Seat.

  • Cleaning: Wipe the seat and frame with a damp cloth. For stubborn dirt, a mild soap solution can be used, followed by wiping with a clean, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. The seat cover is designed to be oil/water resistant.
  • Caster Inspection: Periodically check the casters for accumulated debris (hair, lint, etc.) that may hinder smooth rolling. Clean as necessary.
  • Fastener Check: Regularly inspect all bolts and fasteners to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten if any looseness is detected.
  • Pneumatic Cylinder: The pneumatic cylinder is generally maintenance-free. If you notice issues with height adjustment or the seat sinking, contact customer support.
