4. Setup Guide

4.1 Initial Charging (Optional)

While cameras are solar-powered, it is recommended to fully charge them via the USB charging cable before initial installation for optimal performance, especially if installing in an area with limited immediate sunlight.

4.2 Homebase Setup

1. Connect the Homebase to a power outlet using the provided power adapter.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Live View and Playback

• Open the Armorcope app. On the main dashboard, you will see a live feed from all connected cameras.
• Tap on a specific camera feed to view it in full screen.
• To access recorded footage, navigate to the 'Playback' section within the app. You can filter by date and time to review events.

5.2 Pan & Tilt Control

• In the live view of a pan & tilt camera, use the directional controls on the app interface to remotely adjust the camera's horizontal (pan) and vertical (tilt) angles.

5.3 Motion Detection and Alerts

• The cameras utilize Smart PIR Motion Detection to minimize false alarms.
• Configure motion detection sensitivity and activity zones in the app's settings for each camera.
• Enable push notifications in the app to receive instant alerts on your smartphone when motion is detected.
