Installation Guide
1. Pre-Installation Steps
- Clean Truck Bed Rails: Ensure the truck bed rails are clean and free of debris, wax, or any protective coatings that might interfere with the weatherstrip adhesion or clamp grip.
- Check Front Bed Rail Height: Examine the front bed rail (closest to the cab). If it is lower than the side rails, apply the provided weather stripping to fill the gap. This ensures a level surface for the tonneau cover and helps prevent water intrusion.
2. Placing the Tonneau Cover
- Carefully place the folded tonneau cover assembly onto the front of your truck bed rails, with the front panel positioned closest to the cab. Ensure the cover is centered and aligned evenly on both side rails.
- Unfold the cover completely towards the tailgate, allowing it to lay flat across the bed. Adjust its position to ensure it is evenly spaced on all three sides (front and both sides).
3. Securing the Front Clamps
- Locate the front clamps on the underside of the cover's front panel. Pull down the clamp from the bottom of the cover until it is in a vertical position.
- Hook the clamp onto the truck's bed rail lip. Ensure the clamp's jaw fully engages the lip.
- Tighten the clamp knob until it is snug. Do not overtighten. Repeat for the other front clamp.
- For added security, insert the provided durable plug into the clamp mechanism. This helps prevent accidental release while driving.

4. Securing the Middle and Rear Latches
The middle and rear latches require careful adjustment for a tight and secure fit. Refer to the diagram below for optimal jaw positioning.
- Adjusting Latch Position: Pull down the latch handle from the underside of the cover. Unscrew the handle to lower its position, or lift it up and rotate to raise it. The optimal position is when the groove of the latch jaw is level with the lip of the truck bed rail.
- Engaging Latches: With one hand, firmly press down onto the cover corner above the latch. With the other hand, crank the latch handle down into its locked position, ensuring the jaw fully latches onto the bed rail lip.
- Repeat this process for all middle and rear latches. If any latch feels loose, lift the handle, adjust the jaw position slightly, and re-engage until a tight fit is achieved.

Operating Instructions
1. Opening the Tonneau Cover
- Release Rear Latches: From inside the truck bed, pull the release cables for the rear latches to disengage them from the bed rails.
- Fold Panels: Lift the rear panel and fold it forward onto the middle panel. Then, lift both panels and fold them onto the front panel, towards the cab.
- Secure Folded Cover: Use the integrated nylon buckles and straps to secure the folded cover against the cab. This prevents the cover from unfolding during transit.
2. Closing the Tonneau Cover
- Unbuckle and Unfold: Release the nylon buckles and straps securing the folded cover. Carefully unfold the panels one by one towards the tailgate.
- Engage Latches: As each panel lays flat, ensure the latches engage securely with the bed rails. For the middle and rear latches, press down on the cover and crank the handles into their locked position.
- Verify Security: Once fully closed, gently press down on the cover panels to ensure all latches are engaged and the cover is flush with the bed rails.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance will extend the life and appearance of your tonneau cover.
- Cleaning: Wash the cover regularly with mild soap and water. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the FRP material. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry.
- Check Seals: Periodically inspect the weather seals around the perimeter of the cover and between panels for any signs of wear or damage. Replace worn seals to maintain water resistance.
- Inspect Hardware: Annually check all clamps, latches, and hinges for tightness and proper function. Tighten any loose hardware.
- Lubrication: Apply a silicone-based lubricant to the hinges and latch mechanisms as needed to ensure smooth operation.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your tonneau cover, consider the following:
- Water Leaks: Check the weather stripping along the bed rails and between panels. Ensure all clamps and latches are securely tightened. Adjust the front bed rail weather strip if necessary.
- Cover Not Latching Securely: Re-adjust the position of the latch jaws as described in the installation guide to ensure they are level with the bed rail lip and can fully engage.
- Difficulty Folding/Unfolding: Ensure no debris is obstructing the folding mechanism. Lubricate hinges and moving parts if they feel stiff.
