Battery and MicroSD Card Installation

Proper installation of the battery and microSD card is crucial for camera operation.

1. Battery Installation: Hold down the latch on the battery cover and pull it down to open the compartment. Insert the battery, ensuring the markings on the battery align with the compartment. Push the cover upwards until it clicks into place.
2. MicroSD Card Installation: Press on the latch of the USB cover, slide it downward, then lift to open. Insert the microSD card into the slot. Close the USB cover until it clicks. (Note: MicroSD card must be purchased separately.)

App Download and Activation

The Insta360 app is required to activate and fully utilize your camera.

1. Ensure your smartphone is connected to the internet and has both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled.
2. Download the "Insta360" app from your device's app store.
3. Open the app, select your device (Ace Pro 2), and tap "Connect".
4. Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm the connection and activate your camera.

Basic Controls

• Power On/Off: Press the power button to turn the camera on. Long press to turn it off.
• Start/Stop Recording: Press the shutter button to start recording. Press again to stop.

The Insta360 Ace Pro 2 is waterproof to 39ft (12m) without a dive case. For water sports scenarios like diving or surfing, ensure the mic cap or wind guard is removed and replaced with the included mic cap before entering the water. Ensure the red silk screen is completely covered and the wind guard is not loose.

Cleaning and Care

• After underwater use, rinse the camera with fresh water and allow it to dry completely before opening any compartments.
• Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the lens and screen. Avoid abrasive materials.
