1. Important Safety Instructions

Please read and understand this entire owner's manual, including all safety information, before plugging in or using this product. Failure to do so could result in fire, electric shock, or serious personal injury.

• Always disconnect the fireplace from the power supply before cleaning or maintenance.
• Do not operate the fireplace with a damaged cord or plug, or if the heater malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
• Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
• Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the fireplace.
• This fireplace is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
• Close supervision is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the fireplace is left operating and unattended.

3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Wall-Mounted Installation

For wall-mounted installation, ensure the fireplace is securely attached to a wall stud using the provided mounting bracket. Follow these general steps:

1. Choose a suitable location on a wall, ensuring it is away from combustible materials and has access to a power outlet.
2. Mark the desired height and level for the mounting bracket.
3. Securely attach the mounting bracket to the wall studs using appropriate hardware.
4. Carefully lift the fireplace and hook it onto the mounting bracket.
5. Ensure the fireplace is stable and level before plugging it in.

3.2 Recessed Installation

For recessed installation, a minimum opening wall size of 72.89” (W) x 16.1” (H) x 6¼” (D) is required. Refer to the detailed dimensions and framing size table below.

Recessed Installation Steps:

1. Construct a framed opening in the wall according to the specified dimensions.
2. Insert the fireplace into the framed opening.
3. Secure the fireplace to the framing using the provided screws.
4. Ensure proper ventilation around the unit as indicated in the manual.

4. Operating Instructions

The Valuxhome electric fireplace can be operated using the touchscreen panel, the included remote control, or a dedicated mobile application.

4.1 Control Panel and Remote Control

The fireplace features a discreet touchscreen glass panel and comes with a remote control for convenient operation. Both allow control over power, heat settings, flame colors, ember bed colors, and top light colors.

4.2 Mobile App Control

Download the dedicated mobile application to control your fireplace from your smartphone. The app provides comprehensive control over all features, including flame effects, heating, and timer settings.

4.3 Flame and Light Customization

Choose from 13 flame colors, 13 ember bed colors, and 3 top light colors to create up to 507 unique combinations. The flame and light effects can be displayed without activating the heating function.

4.4 Heating Modes and Timer

Select between Low (750W) and High (1500W) heating modes. The integrated 1-9 hour timer allows you to set the duration of operation, providing convenience and energy efficiency.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your electric fireplace.

• Cleaning: Always unplug the fireplace before cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners or sprays.
• Glass Panel: Clean the glass panel with a soft cloth and glass cleaner. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
• Ventilation: Ensure the air intake and outlet vents are clear of dust and debris to prevent overheating.
• Light Bulbs: The LED lights are designed for long life and should not require replacement.

6. Troubleshooting

If you experience issues with your fireplace, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

• No Power: Check if the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. Ensure the circuit breaker is not tripped.
• No Heat: Verify that the heater function is turned on and the temperature setting is above the ambient room temperature. Check for any obstructions in the air vents.
• Remote Not Working: Replace the batteries in the remote control. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the fireplace sensor.
• App Connectivity Issues: Ensure your fireplace is in pairing mode and your mobile device is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Refer to the app's instructions for detailed pairing steps.
• Unusual Noises: A slight fan noise is normal during heating operation. If unusual or loud noises occur, discontinue use and contact customer support.
