  • Air Intake/Exhaust Vents: Located around the base and top grille.

Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the heater from its packaging. Retain packaging for off-season storage.
  2. Placement: Place the heater on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is at least 3 feet (0.9 meters) of clear space around the heater from walls, furniture, and other objects. Do not place it on soft surfaces like rugs or carpets that could block the air intake.
  3. Power Connection: Ensure the heater is in the OFF position (Function Control Knob set to 'O'). Plug the power cord directly into a 120V AC, 60Hz wall outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.

Operating Instructions

  1. Power On: With the heater plugged in, turn the Function Control Knob to your desired setting:
    • Fan Only (☁): Operates the fan without heat.
    • Low Heat (I): Provides low heat output.
    • High Heat (II): Provides maximum heat output.
The red power indicator light will illuminate when the heater is on.
  2. Set Thermostat: Turn the Thermostat Control Knob (marked '-' to '+') to the maximum setting ('+') initially. Once the room reaches a comfortable temperature, slowly turn the Thermostat Control Knob counter-clockwise until the heater turns off. The heater will now cycle on and off to maintain this set temperature.
  3. Power Off: To turn off the heater, turn the Function Control Knob to the 'O' (OFF) position. Unplug the heater from the wall outlet when not in use.

Safety Features:

  • Tip-Over Switch: The heater will automatically shut off if it is tipped over. Place it upright on a stable surface to resume operation.
  • Overheat Protection: If the heater overheats due to blocked air vents or other reasons, it will automatically shut off. Unplug the heater, allow it to cool for 10-15 minutes, and clear any obstructions before plugging it back in and resuming use.

Maintenance

Always unplug the heater before cleaning or performing any maintenance.

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces of the heater. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure no water enters the interior of the heater.
  • Air Vents: Periodically vacuum the air intake and exhaust vents to remove dust and lint buildup. Do not use the heater without the grilles in place.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the heater in its original packaging in a cool, dry place.
