Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your pond lights:

  • Cleaning: Periodically clean the light lenses to remove any algae, dirt, or debris that may accumulate, especially if submerged. Use a soft cloth and mild soap if necessary, then rinse thoroughly with clean water.
  • Cable Inspection: Regularly inspect all cables for any signs of wear, cuts, or damage. Ensure all connections remain secure and watertight.
  • Power Adapter: Keep the power adapter in a dry, protected location, away from direct exposure to heavy rain or extreme weather conditions, even though it is designed for outdoor use.
  • Winterization: In areas with freezing temperatures, it is recommended to remove submerged lights from the water during winter to prevent potential damage from ice expansion.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your POPOSOAP Pond Lights, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

  • Lights Not Turning On:
    • Check if the power adapter is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet.
    • Verify that all cable connections between the adapter and the lights are firm.
    • Ensure there is power to the outlet by testing it with another device.
  • Lights Flickering or Dim:
    • Inspect cables for damage or loose connections.
    • Clean the light lenses to remove any obstructions that might be reducing light output.
    • Ensure the power supply is stable and not experiencing fluctuations.
  • Timer Not Functioning Correctly:
    • Unplug the power adapter for a few minutes, then plug it back in to reset the timer.
    • Ensure the green indicator light on the adapter is on, signifying the timer is active.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, please contact customer support.
