Operating Instructions
General Rice Cooking (White Rice)
- Measure Rice: Use the provided measuring cup to measure the desired amount of rice. One cup of uncooked rice typically yields about 2-3 cups of cooked rice.
- Rinse Rice: Rinse the rice thoroughly under cold running water until the water runs clear. This helps remove excess starch.
- Add Water: Place the rinsed rice into the non-stick inner pot. Add the appropriate amount of water. Refer to the water level markings inside the inner pot or a standard rice-to-water ratio (e.g., 1:1.25 for white rice).
- Place Pot: Place the inner pot into the main unit, ensuring it is seated correctly. Close the lid securely.
- Select Function: Plug in the rice cooker. The digital touch screen will illuminate. Press the "Menu" button to cycle through the 8 cooking functions: Sushi, White Rice, Quick Cook, Low Carb, Risotto, Brown Rice, Cake, Steam. Select "White Rice".
- Start Cooking: Press the "Start" button. The indicator light will show that cooking has begun.
- Keep Warm: Once cooking is complete, the rice cooker will automatically switch to the "Keep Warm" function. This keeps the rice warm without overcooking it.
- Serve: Open the lid carefully, avoiding steam. Use the provided rice spatula to fluff and serve the rice.
Low Carb Cooking Function
The Low Carb function utilizes a unique technology to reduce carbohydrate and sugar content by up to 40%.
- Follow steps 1-3 from "General Rice Cooking". For Low Carb cooking, ensure you use the stainless steel steam basket inside the inner pot, and place the rice in the steam basket. The water should be in the main inner pot, below the steam basket.
- Place the inner pot with the steam basket into the main unit and close the lid.
- Press "Menu" and select "Low Carb".
- Press "Start". The cooker will perform a special cooking cycle where excess starch and sugar are drained into the water below the basket.
- Once complete, the cooker will switch to "Keep Warm". Serve the low carb rice from the steam basket.

- Select your desired cooking function (e.g., "White Rice").
- Press the "Delay Time" button.
- Use the "Hour" and "Min" buttons to adjust the delay time. The display will show the set delay.
- Press "Start". The cooker will begin the countdown, and cooking will start automatically after the set delay.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your rice cooker.
- Unplug: Always unplug the rice cooker from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Inner Pot and Accessories: Wash the non-stick inner pot, steam basket, rice spatula, and measuring cup with warm, soapy water. Use a soft sponge or cloth to avoid scratching the non-stick coating. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. These parts are generally not dishwasher safe unless specified otherwise in the product manual (not specified here, so assume hand wash).
- Main Unit: Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn stains, use a mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads. Never immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid.
- Lid: The inner lid may accumulate condensation or food residue. Wipe it clean with a damp cloth after each use.
- Storage: Ensure all parts are clean and dry before storing. Store the rice cooker in a cool, dry place.
