Setup

1. Assemble the Unit: Place the LED grow light arm into the base unit. Ensure all connections are secure.
2. Insert Seed Pods: Place the provided seed pods into the designated holes on the growing deck. Ensure they are seated properly in the baskets.
3. Add Water: Open the water fill port and fill the reservoir with fresh tap water up to the 'Fill To Here' line. Avoid overfilling.
4. Add Plant Nutrients: Following the instructions on the plant nutrient bottle, add the recommended amount of liquid plant food to the water reservoir. This is typically 5ml per liter of water.
5. Cover Pods: Place the clear plastic domes over each seed pod to create a humid environment for germination. Remove domes once seedlings emerge.
6. Plug In: Connect the power adapter to the unit and then to a wall outlet. The system will automatically initiate its light cycle.

Lighting

The AeroGarden Harvest features a high-performance, full-spectrum 20-watt LED grow light system. This light is tuned to maximize photosynthesis, promoting rapid and natural plant growth. The built-in sensors automatically turn the lights on and off each day, providing the optimal light cycle for your plants.

• Automatic Cycle: The lights operate on an automatic schedule (typically 15-17 hours on, 7-9 hours off) to mimic natural sunlight.
• Adjustable Height: As your plants grow, adjust the height of the LED grow light up to 12 inches to maintain optimal distance from the plant canopy.

Watering & Feeding

The control panel on your AeroGarden Harvest will notify you when to add water and plant food, eliminating guesswork.

• Water Reminders: A dedicated indicator light will flash when the water level is low, prompting you to refill the reservoir.
• Plant Food Reminders: Another indicator light will remind you when it's time to add plant food, typically every two weeks.

Maintenance

• Pruning: Regularly prune your plants to encourage bushier growth and prevent them from growing too close to the LED lights.
• Root Trimming: Periodically check the roots in the water reservoir. If they become too dense or tangled, gently trim them to prevent clogging and ensure proper nutrient uptake. This is typically recommended once a month during water changes.
• Water Changes: It is recommended to perform a full water change every 2-4 weeks to ensure fresh nutrients and prevent algae buildup.
