2. Setup

Upon first power-on or after a factory reset, you will be prompted to select your primary languages for translation. Choose the two languages you wish to translate between.

The POCKETALK S2 provides seamless two-way voice translation. Ensure the correct source and target languages are selected on the screen.

  1. Speak: Press and hold the large button corresponding to the language you will speak. Speak clearly into the device's microphone.
  2. Release: Release the button once you have finished speaking. The device will process your speech and translate it into the target language, then play the translation aloud and display it on the screen.
  3. Two-Way Automatic Translation: The device can be set to automatically translate both ways. This feature can be enabled in the settings menu.
