1. Introduction
The Philips Sparkling Water Maker allows you to create sparkling water and soda drinks without electricity. This manual provides essential information for safe and efficient use of your appliance.

Note: A 60L CO2 Carbonator is NOT included and must be purchased separately. The new Quick Twist soda maker version only adapts to Quick Twist carbonated bottles of model# ADD4902/37, ADD4902BKOQ/37, ADD4902WHOQ/37.
4. Setup
4.1 Installing the CO2 Cylinder
- Place the sparkling water maker on a flat, stable surface.
- Gently lay the appliance on its side.
- Insert the CO2 cylinder into the designated compartment at the bottom of the machine.
- Twist the cylinder clockwise until it is firmly secured. Ensure it is twisted tightly to prevent gas leakage.
- Return the appliance to an upright position.

4.2 Initial Bottle Rinse
Before first use, rinse the carbonating bottle with cold water.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Carbonating Water
- Fill the carbonating bottle with cold, clean water up to the maximum fill line. Cold water is recommended for optimal carbonation.
- Twist the bottle onto the machine until it locks into place.
- Press the carbonation button firmly for 2-3 seconds until you hear a buzzing sound. Release the button.
- Repeat steps 3 two to three times to achieve your desired carbonation level.
- Once carbonation is complete, twist the bottle counter-clockwise to release it from the machine.

5.2 Making Flavored Drinks
For best results, carbonate plain water first, then add your desired flavorings (e.g., fruit slices, syrups, juices) to the sparkling water.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning the Appliance
Wipe the exterior of the sparkling water maker with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the appliance in water or wash it in a dishwasher.
6.2 Cleaning the Carbonating Bottle
Wash the carbonating bottle with cold or lukewarm water and a mild dish soap. Do not wash in hot water or a dishwasher, as this can damage the bottle. The bottle should be replaced every six months or if any damage is visible.
