1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Newbealer Travel Steam Iron. This compact and versatile appliance is designed for both steaming and dry ironing, offering convenience for travel and everyday use. Its global voltage compatibility ensures functionality worldwide, adapting automatically to 100-240V power sources. The iron features a non-stick ceramic soleplate for smooth gliding, rapid heating, and an automatic shut-off for enhanced safety.

• Always unplug the iron when filling or emptying the water tank, and when not in use.
• Do not leave the iron unattended while it is switched on or connected to the power supply.
• Keep the iron and its cord out of reach of children.
• Do not immerse the iron in water or any other liquid.
• Use the provided silicone rest to place the hot iron on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
• The iron is equipped with an auto-shutoff feature that activates after 30 minutes of inactivity.
• Only use distilled or demineralized water to prevent mineral buildup and ensure optimal performance.

4. Setup

1. Fill the Water Tank:

   Open the water tank cover located on the side of the iron. Use the provided measuring cup to fill the 120ml water tank with distilled or demineralized water. Close the cover securely to prevent leaks.

   

2. Connect to Power:

   Plug the iron into a power outlet. The Newbealer Travel Steam Iron features global voltage auto-adaptation (100-240V), so no manual voltage adjustment is needed. The power button light will flash red, indicating it is heating up.

3. Preheating:

   Wait approximately 20 seconds for the iron to reach its operating temperature. The red light will stop flashing and become solid red, indicating it is ready for dry ironing. For steaming, proceed to the next step.

5. Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off and Mode Selection:

   Long press the power button to turn the iron on. The light will flash red during preheating. Once solid red, it's ready for dry ironing. Short press the power button again to switch to steam mode; the light will turn solid blue, and steam will be emitted. Long press the button to turn the iron off.

2. Dry Ironing:

   With the light solid red, the iron is in dry ironing mode (293°F). Place the garment on a flat, heat-resistant surface. Glide the iron smoothly over the fabric to remove wrinkles. The diamond-infused ceramic soleplate ensures effortless, non-stick gliding.

   

3. Steam Ironing (Vertical & Horizontal):

   In steam mode (solid blue light), the iron blasts 275°F steam. You can use it horizontally on a flat surface or vertically for hanging garments. The 360° anti-spill technology prevents leaks even when tilted.

   

   

4. Collapsible Handle:

   The iron features a collapsible handle for compact storage. Simply push or pull the handle to extend or retract it as needed.

5. Auto-Shutoff Protection:

   For your safety, the iron automatically shuts off after 30 minutes of continuous use or inactivity. The indicator light will turn off when this feature is activated.

   

6. Maintenance

1. Cleaning the Soleplate:

   Ensure the iron is unplugged and completely cool. Wipe the ceramic soleplate with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as these can damage the non-stick coating.

2. Emptying the Water Tank:

   After each use, or before storing, empty any remaining water from the tank to prevent mineral buildup and odors. Open the water tank cover and carefully pour out the water.

3. Storage:

   Allow the iron to cool completely before storing. Retract the handle and place the iron, along with its accessories, in the provided travel case. Store in a dry, safe place.

7. Troubleshooting

• Iron not heating:

  Ensure the iron is properly plugged into a working outlet and the power button has been long-pressed to turn it on. Check if the indicator light is on.

• No steam or insufficient steam:

  Check if the water tank is filled with water. Ensure the iron is in steam mode (solid blue light). Allow sufficient time for preheating. If using tap water, mineral buildup might be affecting steam production; consider descaling.

• Water leaking:

  Ensure the water tank cover is securely closed. Avoid overfilling the water tank. The iron features anti-spill technology, but excessive tilting or improper filling can still cause minor drips.

• Auto-shutoff activates too soon:

  The auto-shutoff feature is designed to activate after 30 minutes of inactivity. If it activates during active use, ensure the iron is being moved regularly. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
