3. Setup: Pairing Instructions
Before using your new remote control, it must be paired with your adjustable bed. Follow these steps carefully:
- Locate the Battery Backup Box: Find the battery backup box on your adjustable bed. This box typically contains a 'POWER DOWN' button.
- Initiate Pairing Mode on Bed: Press the 'POWER DOWN' button on the Battery Backup Box twice. A light on the Battery Backup Box will illuminate, indicating it is ready for pairing.
- Activate Pairing on Remote: On the back of the remote control, under the battery cover, press and hold down the 'PAIR' button. The 'PAIR' button will illuminate blue and begin flashing.
- Confirm Pairing: The 'PAIR' button on the remote will stop flashing, and the illuminated light on the Battery Backup Box will go out. This indicates successful pairing.
- Test Functions: Release the 'PAIR' button and test all remote functions to ensure proper operation.
Important: Perform step 3 within 10 seconds of completing step 2.

4. Operating Instructions
