2. Setup Instructions
Follow these steps to set up your SOOPYK Countertop Reverse Osmosis System:
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the unit from its packaging. Place the unit on a stable, flat surface near an electrical outlet.
- Initial Resting Period: After unpacking, allow the unit to sit upright for at least 2 hours before plugging it in or powering it on. This allows internal fluids to settle.
- Filter Installation:
- Locate the filter compartments, typically on the side or back of the unit.
- Insert the PAC (Pre-Activated Carbon) filter into its designated slot (usually marked '1' or 'PAC'). Press firmly until you hear a click, indicating it is securely in place.
- Insert the RO (Reverse Osmosis) filter into its designated slot (usually marked '2' or 'RO'). Press firmly until you hear a click.

- Water Tank Filling: Fill the removable water tank with tap water. Ensure the tank is properly seated in the unit.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
- Initial Flush: For first-time use or after filter replacement, it is recommended to dispense and discard at least two full tanks of water to flush the system and filters.
3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Dispensing Hot Water
- Place a cup under the dispenser spout.
- Press the Unlock button first.
- Turn the Adjust Knob to select your desired temperature. The system offers 5 temperature settings (e.g., 100℃/212℉, 95℃/203℉, 85℃/185℉, 65℃/150℉, 45℃/113℉, Room Temperature) or allows adjustment in 5℃ increments.
- Press the Dispense Button (the knob itself) to start dispensing hot water.
- To stop dispensing, press the Dispense Button again.
3.2 Dispensing Cold Water
- Place a cup under the dispenser spout.
- Press and hold the Snowflake Icon (Cooling Water Button) on the screen to activate the cooling function. The snowflake indicator will stay on when the cold water is ready (typically 5℃/40℉).
- Press the Cold Water Button to dispense cold water.
- To stop dispensing, press the Cold Water Button again.
3.3 Adjusting Dispense Volume
The system offers preset dispensing volumes (200ml, 350ml, 500ml, 999ml) and allows custom adjustments.
- Press and hold the Volume Button for 5 seconds.
- Once the volume light stays on, rotate the Adjust Knob to set your desired volume in 50ml increments.
- Press the Dispense Button to confirm and dispense.

3.4 Child Safety Lock
To prevent accidental hot water dispensing, the child safety lock is automatically engaged for heating functions. You must press the Unlock button before dispensing hot water.
4. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and water quality.
4.1 Filter Replacement
The system includes a filter life monitoring feature. The filter indicator on the display will illuminate to remind you when a filter needs replacement.
- PAC Filter: Replace approximately every 12 months.
- RO Filter: Replace approximately every 24 months.
Note: Actual filter lifespan may vary based on source water quality and usage frequency. Always follow the filter indicator.

4.2 UV Self-Cleaning
The built-in UV lights automatically purify the water and internal components, reducing the need for manual cleaning of the water tank and pipes.
4.3 General Cleaning
- Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Regularly empty and clean the drip tray.
- For thorough cleaning of the water tank, remove it from the unit and wash with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly before reattaching.
5. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your SOOPYK water dispenser, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
