Setup
1. Charging the Device
Before first use, fully charge your Sena Talkie. Connect the supplied USB-C cable to the charging port on the device and plug the other end into a USB power source. The LED indicator will show charging status.
2. Attaching Mounts
The Sena Talkie comes with various mounting options to suit your activity. Choose the appropriate mount (Carabiner, Magnetic, Armband, Necklace, or Handlebar) and securely attach the Talkie. Ensure the device is firmly in place before engaging in activities.

3. Initial Pairing and App Connection
For optimal functionality and to manage settings, download the Sena Talkie App on your smartphone. Follow the in-app instructions to pair your device via Bluetooth. The app allows for easy configuration of channels, voice prompts, and other features.

Operating the Sena Talkie
1. Power On/Off
To power on the Sena Talkie, press and hold the Power Button until the LED indicator lights up. To power off, press and hold the Power Button again until the LED turns off.
2. Mesh Intercom Communication
The Sena Talkie utilizes Mesh Intercom technology for seamless group communication. Once devices are within range and connected, communication is automatic and hands-free. Ensure all participants are on the same Mesh channel for optimal performance.

3. Hands-Free Operation
The Talkie is designed for hands-free use, allowing you to focus on your activity. Voice prompts guide you through various functions, and the Mesh Intercom automatically connects you to your group. No buttons need to be pressed to initiate conversation within the Mesh network.

4. Volume Control and Channel Selection
Adjust the volume using the dedicated buttons on the device. Channel selection for Mesh Intercom can be managed through the Sena Talkie App, allowing you to switch between up to 9 available channels to avoid interference or create separate groups.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the device with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure the USB cap is securely closed to maintain water resistance.
- Storage: Store the Sena Talkie in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Care: For long-term storage, charge the battery to approximately 50% every six months to preserve battery life.
