4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Headphones

Before first use, fully charge your headphones. Use the provided Type-C charging cable.

  1. Connect the Type-C end of the charging cable to the charging port on the headphones.
  2. Connect the USB-A end to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The LED indicator will show charging status (e.g., red while charging, blue/off when fully charged).
  4. A full charge takes approximately 60 minutes.

4.2 Bluetooth Pairing

To connect your headphones to a device:

  1. Ensure the headphones are charged and powered off.
  2. Press and hold the Power button for approximately 3-5 seconds until the LED indicator flashes blue and red alternately, indicating pairing mode.
  3. On your device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  4. Select "GOBOULT Flex" from the list of found devices.
  5. Once connected, the LED indicator will flash blue slowly or turn off, depending on the model.

The headphones support Bluetooth 5.4 for stable connections and faster pairing.

4.3 Dual Device DSP (Multi-point Connection)

The GOBOULT Flex headphones feature Dual Device DSP, allowing simultaneous connection to two devices.

  1. Pair the headphones with the first device as described in section 4.2.
  2. Disable Bluetooth on the first device. The headphones will re-enter pairing mode.
  3. Pair the headphones with the second device.
  4. Re-enable Bluetooth on the first device. The headphones should automatically connect to both devices.

You can now seamlessly switch audio playback between the two connected devices.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

  • Power On: Press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds.
  • Power Off: Press and hold the Power button for 5 seconds.

5.2 Music Playback

  • Play/Pause: Press the MFB once.
  • Next Track: Press and hold the Volume Up button.
  • Previous Track: Press and hold the Volume Down button.
  • Volume Up: Short press the Volume Up button.
  • Volume Down: Short press the Volume Down button.

5.3 Call Management

The Zen™ ENC Mic provides clear call quality by reducing environmental noise.

  • Answer/End Call: Press the MFB once.
  • Reject Call: Press and hold the MFB for 2 seconds.
  • Activate Voice Assistant: Triple press the MFB.

5.4 EQ Modes

Customize your audio experience with 4 Equalizer (EQ) modes:

5.5 Combat™ Gaming Mode (Low Latency)

Activate the 60ms ultra-low latency Combat™ Gaming Mode for a synchronized audio-visual experience during gaming.

5.6 AUX Option (Wired Mode)

Use the provided AUX cable for a wired connection when the battery is low or for devices without Bluetooth.

  • Connect one end of the AUX cable to the headphone's AUX port.
  • Connect the other end to the 3.5mm audio jack of your device.
  • The headphones will automatically switch to wired mode. Bluetooth functions will be disabled.
