Bass Management

When a subwoofer is connected to the SUB OUT port, the Kanto REN automatically implements an 80 Hz high/low pass filter. This directs frequencies below 80 Hz to the subwoofer, allowing the main speakers to focus on mid-range and treble, thereby reducing distortion at higher volumes and improving overall sound clarity.

Maintenance

To maintain the appearance and performance of your Kanto REN speakers, follow these guidelines:

  • Wipe surfaces with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Keep speakers away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and moisture.
  • Ensure proper ventilation around the speakers to prevent overheating.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Kanto REN speakers, try the following solutions:

  • No Sound: Check all cable connections, ensure the correct input is selected on the speakers, and verify the volume level on both the speakers and the source device.
  • Distorted Sound: Reduce the volume, check for loose connections, or try a different audio source to isolate the problem.
  • Bluetooth Pairing Issues: Ensure the speakers are in Bluetooth pairing mode, disable and re-enable Bluetooth on your source device, and try resetting the speaker's Bluetooth connection via the remote.
  • HDMI ARC Not Working: Verify your TV's HDMI ARC port is enabled in its settings. Some TVs may require specific audio output settings for ARC functionality.
