Top Panel Controls:

  • SNOOZE / DIMMER Bar: Press to activate snooze during an alarm. Press to adjust display brightness when alarm is off.
  • TIME Button: Used to set the current time.
  • ALARM Button: Used to set the alarm time.
  • HOUR Button: Adjusts the hour during time or alarm setting.
  • MIN Button: Adjusts the minute during time or alarm setting.

Side Switch:

  • ALARM HI / LO / OFF Switch: Selects alarm volume (High, Low) or turns the alarm off.

Back Panel Ports:

Setup

1. Power Connection

  1. Connect the provided USB Power Cord to the POWER IN port on the back of the alarm clock.
  2. Plug the other end of the USB Power Cord into a USB power adapter (not included) and then into a standard electrical outlet. The display will illuminate.

2. Battery Backup Installation (Optional)

The battery backup feature requires one (1) AA battery (not included). This battery maintains time and alarm settings during a power outage but does not power the display.

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the clock.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert one (1) AA battery, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Operating Instructions

1. Setting the Current Time

  1. Press and hold the TIME button until the hour digits begin to flash.
  2. Press the HOUR button repeatedly to adjust the hour. Observe the PM indicator for correct AM/PM setting.
  3. Press the MIN button repeatedly to adjust the minutes.
  4. Press the TIME button again to confirm and exit time setting mode. The display will stop flashing.

2. Setting the Alarm Time

  1. Press and hold the ALARM button until the alarm hour digits begin to flash. An alarm icon will appear on the display.
  2. Press the HOUR button repeatedly to adjust the alarm hour. Observe the PM indicator for correct AM/PM setting.
  3. Press the MIN button repeatedly to adjust the alarm minutes.
  4. Press the ALARM button again to confirm and exit alarm setting mode. The alarm icon will remain on the display, indicating the alarm is active.

3. Activating/Deactivating and Adjusting Alarm Volume

Use the ALARM HI / LO / OFF switch located on the side of the clock.

  • Slide the switch to HI for high alarm volume.
  • Slide the switch to LO for low alarm volume.
  • Slide the switch to OFF to deactivate the alarm. The alarm icon will disappear from the display.

4. Snooze Function

When the alarm sounds:

  1. Press the large SNOOZE / DIMMER bar on the top of the clock.
  2. The alarm will temporarily stop and sound again after approximately 8 minutes.
  3. To cancel snooze and turn off the alarm, slide the ALARM HI / LO / OFF switch to OFF.

5. Adjusting Display Brightness

When the alarm is not sounding:

  1. Press the SNOOZE / DIMMER bar repeatedly to cycle through the available brightness levels (High, Medium, Low, Off).
  2. Select the desired brightness level for your environment.

Charging Other Devices

The Westclox Digital LED Alarm Clock features a CHARGE OUT USB-C port on the back, allowing you to charge compatible small electronic devices (e.g., smartphones, tablets) while the clock is connected to power.

  1. Ensure the alarm clock is properly connected to an electrical power source via its POWER IN port.
  2. Connect your device's USB-C charging cable (not included) to the CHARGE OUT port on the clock.
  3. Connect the other end of the charging cable to your device. Charging will begin automatically.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: To clean the clock, gently wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Avoid Moisture: Keep the clock away from water and high humidity.
  • Placement: Place the clock on a stable, flat surface. Avoid direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.

Troubleshooting
