- Close the load plate and secure it with the lever.
- Install the CPU cooler according to its manufacturer's instructions.
4.2 RAM (DDR5) Installation
- Locate the four DDR5 DIMM slots. For optimal performance, refer to the motherboard's specific memory population guidelines (usually A2/B2 first for dual channel).
- Open the clips at both ends of the DIMM slot.
- Align the notch on the DDR5 memory module with the key in the DIMM slot.
- Press down firmly on both ends of the memory module until the clips snap into place.
4.3 M.2 SSD Installation
The motherboard features 5x M.2 slots with EZ-Latch for tool-less installation.
- Locate an available M.2 slot, typically covered by a thermal guard. Remove the thermal guard if present.
- Insert the M.2 SSD into the slot at a 30-degree angle.
- Gently push the M.2 SSD down until it is parallel with the motherboard.
- Secure the M.2 SSD using the EZ-Latch mechanism.
- Reinstall the M.2 Thermal Guard for optimal cooling.
4.4 PCIe Card Installation
The motherboard includes a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot and other PCIe slots with EZ-Latch for graphics cards and expansion cards.
- Open the retention clip at the end of the desired PCIe slot.
- Align your PCIe card with the slot and press down firmly until it is fully seated and the retention clip snaps into place.
- Secure the card to the chassis with a screw.
4.5 Power Supply Connections
- Connect the 24-pin ATX main power connector from your power supply to the corresponding header on the motherboard.
- Connect the 8-pin (or 4+4-pin) ATX 12V CPU power connector(s) to the motherboard.
