Setup
- Charging the Unit: Before first use, fully charge the unit for approximately 4 hours. Connect the USB-C charging cable to the port on the device and plug the other end into a compatible USB power adapter (not included). The charging indicator light will show the charging status. A full charge provides approximately 1 month of typical use.
- Filling the Reservoir: Open the reservoir cap and fill the reservoir with lukewarm water. You may also add a small amount of mouthwash if desired. Close the cap securely.
- Attaching a Tip: Insert the desired tip into the center of the handle until it clicks into place. To remove a tip, press the tip eject button on the side of the handle and pull the tip out.

Operating Instructions
- Power On/Off: Press the power button to turn the unit on. Press it again to turn it off.
- Adjusting Pressure: The WF-21 offers two pressure settings. Use the slide switch on the handle to select your preferred pressure level. Start with the lower setting and gradually increase as you become accustomed to the water flosser.
- Proper Technique: Lean over a sink and place the tip in your mouth. Close your lips enough to prevent splashing while still allowing water to flow from your mouth into the sink. Aim the tip at the gumline at a 90-degree angle. Move the tip along the gumline, pausing briefly between teeth.
- Flossing Duration: Continue until you have cleaned all areas of your mouth. A full reservoir typically provides enough water for a complete cleaning session.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity of your Waterpik Water Flosser.
- Cleaning the Unit: After each use, empty any remaining water from the reservoir. Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
- Cleaning the Tips: Tips can be cleaned by rinsing them under warm water. For a deeper clean, tips can be placed in a container of white vinegar or a denture cleaning solution for 5-7 minutes. Rinse thoroughly afterwards.
- Storage: Store the unit in a dry place away from direct sunlight. Ensure the reservoir is empty before storing for extended periods.
