- Ground Clamp Connection: Attach the ground clamp cable to the negative (-) terminal on the front panel of the welder. Secure the ground clamp firmly to the workpiece or welding table to ensure a good electrical connection.
- TIG Torch Connection: Connect the WP-17 TIG torch to the positive (+) terminal on the front panel. Ensure the gas hose from the torch is connected to the gas inlet on the welder and then to your shielding gas cylinder (e.g., Argon).
- Electrode Holder Connection (for MMA): If using MMA (Stick) welding, connect the electrode holder cable to the positive (+) terminal and the ground clamp to the negative (-) terminal.
- Gas Cylinder Setup: Connect the trachea (gas hose) from the welder to your shielding gas regulator on the gas cylinder. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent gas leaks.

Welding Modes
The machine offers multiple welding functions:
- TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas): Provides precise control for high-quality welds, ideal for thin materials and intricate work.
- PULSE TIG: Offers enhanced control over heat input, reducing distortion and improving weld appearance, especially on thin materials.
- MMA (Manual Metal Arc / Stick): For general-purpose welding with coated electrodes.
- CLEAN: A specific function for cleaning the tungsten electrode or preparing the material.
- LIFT TIG: A non-high-frequency start method for TIG welding, reducing electromagnetic interference.
Material Compatibility
The ANDELI TIG-250MPLC is suitable for welding various materials, including but not limited to:
- Stainless Steel
- Galvanized Pipe
- Square Tube
- Iron

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your welding machine.
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the exterior of the machine with a dry, soft cloth. Ensure cooling vents are free from dust and debris to prevent overheating.
- Cable Inspection: Regularly inspect all cables (power, ground, torch) for cuts, fraying, or damage. Replace damaged cables immediately.
- Torch Maintenance: Clean the TIG torch regularly. Replace worn nozzles, collets, and collet bodies as needed. Ensure the tungsten electrode is properly sharpened and free from contamination.
- Gas Connections: Check all gas connections for leaks using a soapy water solution. Tighten connections if leaks are detected.
- Storage: Store the welder in a clean, dry environment, away from excessive dust, moisture, and corrosive materials.
Troubleshooting
This section provides solutions to common issues you might encounter.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Welder does not power on. | No power supply; Power switch off; Circuit breaker tripped. | Check power cord connection; Ensure power switch is ON; Reset circuit breaker. |
| No arc or weak arc. | Poor ground connection; Incorrect current setting; Contaminated tungsten electrode; Gas flow issue (TIG). | Ensure ground clamp is secure; Adjust amperage; Clean or replace tungsten; Check gas supply and flow rate. |
| Overheat indicator active. | Exceeded duty cycle; Blocked ventilation. | Allow machine to cool down; Clear any obstructions from vents. |
| Poor weld quality (porosity, spatter). | Insufficient shielding gas (TIG); Dirty workpiece; Incorrect travel speed or arc length. | Check gas cylinder and flow; Clean workpiece thoroughly; Adjust welding technique. |
