2. Setup

2.1 Unboxing and Components

Upon opening the package, ensure all components are present:

2.2 Placement and Projection

Position the projector on a stable, flat surface. For optimal viewing, ensure the projection surface is smooth and light-colored. The projector supports screen sizes from 30 to 300 inches. Refer to the table below for recommended projection distances:

2.3 Power Connection

Connect the power cable to the projector's power input and then to a power outlet. Press the power button on the projector or remote control to turn it on.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Android TV 12.0 and Applications

The VISULAPEX U2 Projector comes with Android TV 12.0 built-in, providing access to a wide range of streaming services and applications. You can install popular apps like Netflix, YouTube, and Prime Video directly from the integrated App Store. For other applications, the Google Play Store is also accessible.

Note: Due to copyright restrictions, direct wireless mirroring of streaming services from mobile devices is not supported.

3.2 Network Connectivity (WiFi 6 & LAN)

The projector supports both wireless (WiFi 6) and wired (LAN) network connections for stable and fast internet access.

  • WiFi 6: Offers a smoother and more powerful signal with reduced latency for streaming and screen mirroring. Navigate to the network settings to connect to your WiFi network.
  • LAN: For a highly stable network environment, connect an Ethernet cable to the LAN port on the projector. This is ideal for online video playback and gaming.

3.3 Bluetooth 5.2 Connectivity

3.5 Digital Zoom Function

The projector allows you to adjust the screen size from 100% to 50% using the remote control, without needing to physically move the projector.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning

  • Lens: Use a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optical lenses. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  • Exterior: Wipe the projector's exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or solvents.
  • Ventilation: Ensure the ventilation openings are clear of dust and obstructions to maintain proper airflow.

5. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your VISULAPEX U2 Projector, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • No Image:
    • Ensure the power cable is securely connected and the projector is turned on.
    • Check the input source selection (HDMI, USB) matches the connected device.
    • Verify the connected device (laptop, console) is powered on and outputting a signal.
  • Blurry Image:
    • Allow the automatic focus feature to adjust. If it doesn't, try moving the projector slightly to trigger it.
    • Ensure the projection surface is flat and the projector is stable.
  • Image is Distorted (Trapezoid Shape):
    • The automatic keystone correction should adjust this. If not, try repositioning the projector.
  • No Sound:
    • Check the volume level on the projector and the connected source device.
    • If using Bluetooth audio, ensure the device is properly paired and selected as the output.
    • If using HDMI, ensure the audio is enabled on the source device.
  • Connectivity Issues (WiFi/Bluetooth):
    • Ensure the projector is within range of your WiFi router or Bluetooth device.
    • Restart the projector and your network devices.
    • Verify correct WiFi password entry.
