The VTimes VT506 Baby Monitor system consists of a parent unit (monitor) with a 5-inch IPS screen and a baby unit (camera). It utilizes 2.4GHz FHSS encrypted technology for a secure, hack-proof connection. Key features include:

3. Package Contents

4. Setup

4.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the Parent Unit for approximately 8 hours. Connect both the Parent Unit and Baby Unit to their respective power adapters and plug them into electrical outlets. Use only the original power adapters provided.

4.2 Positioning the Baby Unit (Camera)

Place the Baby Unit in a location that provides a clear view of your baby. Ensure it is at least 3 feet (1 meter) away from the baby to prevent entanglement with the power cord. The camera can be placed on a flat surface or mounted to a wall or crib using the provided kit.

4.3 Powering On

Once both units are connected to power, press and hold the power button on the Parent Unit to turn it on. The Baby Unit will automatically power on when connected to its adapter.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Remote Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ)

Use the directional buttons on the Parent Unit to remotely adjust the camera's viewing angle. Press the 'OK' button to pan (left/right) and tilt (up/down) the camera. Press and hold the zoom button for 2 seconds to zoom in or out (2x digital zoom).

5.2 VOX Mode (Sound Activation)

VOX mode conserves battery by turning off the screen when no sound is detected. The screen will automatically activate when the baby makes a sound. There are 3 sensitivity levels (Low/Middle/High) to adjust how easily the screen activates.

5.3 Two-Way Audio

Press and hold the microphone button on the Parent Unit to speak to your baby through the Baby Unit's speaker. Release the button to stop speaking.

5.4 Night Vision

The Baby Unit automatically switches to infrared night vision in low light conditions, providing a clear black and white image on the Parent Unit.

5.5 Temperature Monitoring

The current room temperature is displayed on the Parent Unit screen. An alert can be set if the temperature goes outside a predefined range.

5.6 Lullabies

Access the menu on the Parent Unit to select and play from 8 built-in lullabies to help soothe your baby.

5.7 Feeding Reminder

Set timed reminders for feeding schedules through the Parent Unit's menu.

5.8 Language Settings

The monitor supports multiple languages. Navigate to the settings menu to select your preferred language.

5.9 Screen Brightness

Adjust the screen brightness of the Parent Unit via the settings menu for optimal viewing in various lighting conditions.

6. Maintenance

Cleaning: Wipe the units with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use cleaning sprays or liquid cleaners.
Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the Parent Unit frequently. Charge timely when one battery bar remains. Use the original charger for battery health.
Storage: If storing the device for an extended period, ensure the battery is partially charged and store in a cool, dry place.

7. Troubleshooting

Problem	Possible Cause	Solution
No image/sound on Parent Unit	Units are out of range or not powered on.	Ensure both units are powered on and within range (up to 1000ft). Check power connections.
Poor image quality	Low light conditions (night vision active) or interference.	Night vision provides a black and white image. Ensure no obstructions between units.
Parent Unit battery drains quickly	Screen-on mode used continuously; battery not fully charged.	Use ECO/VOX mode to extend battery life. Ensure Parent Unit is fully charged (8 hours for first charge).
Cannot pan/tilt camera	Camera unit is not powered or unresponsive.	Check Baby Unit power. Restart both units.
