Setup

1. Installation

Front Camera: Choose a suitable location on your windshield, preferably behind the rearview mirror, to ensure it does not obstruct your view. Clean the area thoroughly before applying the electrostatic film and then the dash cam mount with 3M tape. Ensure the lens has a clear view of the road ahead.

Rear Camera: Install the rear camera on the rear windshield. The 360° rotatable design allows for flexible positioning. Route the rear camera cable discreetly along the vehicle's interior trim to the front unit. The standard cable length is 20ft (6M).

2. Power Connection

Connect the USB power cable to the dash cam and plug the car charger into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket. For continuous power (e.g., for parking mode), an optional Type-C 3-lead hardwire kit is required (not included).

3. SD Card Insertion

Insert the provided 64GB SD card into the designated slot on the dash cam. Ensure the card is inserted correctly until it clicks into place. It is recommended to format the SD card within the dash cam settings or via the app before first use and periodically thereafter.

Operating Instructions

1. Basic Recording (Loop Recording)

Once powered on, the dash cam will automatically begin recording. The V620 supports 4K UHD+ front recording and 1080P FHD rear recording. Loop recording ensures continuous operation by overwriting the oldest files when the SD card is full. You can set loop recording intervals (e.g., 1, 2, or 3 minutes) in the settings.

The LINGDU V620 captures clear and detailed footage from both front and rear perspectives.

The dash cam integrates HDR (High Dynamic Range) and WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) technology to automatically balance light and deliver clear footage in various lighting conditions, including tunnels and bright sunlight. Note: 60fps and HDR functions cannot be used at the same time.

2. Emergency Lock & G-Sensor

The V620 dash cam is equipped with a built-in G-sensor that detects sudden shakes or collisions. When an impact is detected, the current video segment (1/2/3 minutes) is automatically locked and saved to a separate "Emergency" folder, preventing it from being overwritten by loop recording. You can also manually lock videos or use voice commands.

  • Automatic Lock: Triggered by G-sensor detection of impact.
  • Voice Control: Say "Lock the Video" to save the current recording.
  • Manual Lock: Press the "Lock" button on the dash cam.

3. 24/7 Parking Mode

For continuous surveillance when your vehicle is parked, the V620 offers several parking modes. An optional Type-C 3-lead hardwire kit is required for these features (not included).

  • Motion Detection: The front camera will automatically lock a 1-minute video after capturing movement of an object around your vehicle.
  • Collision Detection: If the G-sensor detects an impact while parked, the dash cam will automatically record and lock the video file as an emergency video.
  • Time-Lapse Recording: The dash cam takes pictures per second and merges them into a video, allowing for extended recording periods with less storage space.

5. ADAS Technology

The V620 is equipped with advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) features that use sensors to detect the vehicle's surroundings and alert you to potential safety hazards.

  • Lane Departure Reminder: Alerts you if your vehicle drifts out of its lane.
  • Vehicle Approaching Warning: Notifies you of vehicles approaching too closely.
  • Pedestrian Collision Warning: Warns you of potential collisions with pedestrians.
