5. Setup: Charging the Jump Starter

  5. Charging typically takes approximately 4 hours.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Jump Starting a Vehicle

Ensure the jump starter is at least 75% charged before attempting to jump start a vehicle.

  1. Turn off the vehicle's ignition and all accessories.
  2. Connect the smart jumper clamps to the 12 Volt Vehicle Starting Port on the jump starter. Ensure a secure connection.
  3. Connect the RED (+) clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the vehicle's battery.
  4. Connect the BLACK (-) clamp to the negative (-) terminal of the vehicle's battery or a solid, unpainted metal part of the vehicle's chassis away from the battery.
  5. Once connected, the smart clamps will indicate a ready status (refer to clamp indicator lights if available).
  6. Start the vehicle's engine. If it doesn't start immediately, wait 30 seconds and try again. Do not crank for more than 3 seconds per attempt.
  7. Once the vehicle starts, immediately disconnect the BLACK (-) clamp first, then the RED (+) clamp from the vehicle battery.
  8. Finally, disconnect the smart jumper clamps from the jump starter unit.

6.2. Using as a Power Bank

The jump starter can charge portable electronic devices via its USB Standard Output port.

  1. Connect your device's USB charging cable to the USB Standard Output port on the jump starter.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to your electronic device (e.g., smartphone, tablet, camera).
  3. The jump starter will automatically begin charging your device.
