- Wired Connection (Optional): If your camera lacks a hot shoe or for a wired connection, use the provided cable to connect the camera's PC sync port (if available) directly to the transmitter.
- Channel Selection: Both the transmitter and receiver feature channel selection switches. Ensure that both units are set to the same channel (1-4) to establish a connection and avoid interference from other wireless devices.
Operating Instructions
- Power On: Turn on both the camera and the flash unit connected to the receiver. Ensure the transmitter and receiver are also powered on.
- Verify Channel Match: Double-check that the channel switches on both the transmitter and receiver are set to the identical channel number.
- Test Firing: Take a test shot with your camera. The flash unit connected to the receiver should fire simultaneously. If it does not, refer to the Troubleshooting section.
- Synchronous Speed: The AC-04 supports a maximum synchronous speed of 1/250 second. Adjust your camera's shutter speed accordingly for optimal flash synchronization.
- Working Distance: The system operates effectively up to 30 meters in open, interference-free environments. Maintain a clear line of sight between the transmitter and receiver for best performance.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the transmitter and receiver. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the units in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
- Battery Replacement: Replace the 23A / 12V battery in the transmitter when its performance degrades or the indicator light suggests low power.
- Environmental Protection: Protect the units from extreme temperatures, dust, and water.
