It is recommended to run the self-cleaning cycle regularly, especially if using tap water or if you notice a change in ice quality.

  1. Ensure the ice basket is empty.
  2. Fill the water reservoir with clean water up to the MAX fill line. For enhanced cleaning, a descaling solution (e.g., citric acid solution) can be added as per product instructions.
  3. Press and hold the "Clean" button for a few seconds to initiate the cleaning cycle. The "Cleaning" indicator light will illuminate.
  4. The cycle will run for a set period (refer to your specific model's manual for exact duration).
  5. Once the cycle is complete, drain the water from the reservoir using the drain hose.
  6. Run a fresh water rinse cycle (without descaling solution) to remove any residual cleaning agents. Drain again.
